Ted Cruz dodges question about whether he's 'always been faithful' to his wife ...

Ted Cruz dodges question about whether he's 'always been faithful' to his wife as endorser Carly Fiorina leaps in to insist a declaration that he's not an adulterer is a 'dance to Donald trump's tune'

Texas senator could put National Enquirer scandal to rest with a simple statement that he has never strayed in his 14-year marriage

Instead he has batted down the supermarket tabloid's speculative story about five alleged affairs in a more limited fashion

Carly Fiorina leaped in to intercept DailyMail.com's request for a blanket statement of marital fidelity and Cruz ultimately punted on the question

Fiorina pleaded for a return to discussing issues, but lobbed her own accusation at 'serial adulterer' Donald Trump

Cruz also challenged Trump to a one-on-one debate in Wisconsin on Tuesday night: 'Why don't you show up and debate like a man?'

Ted Cruz declined to answer a question on Monday about whether he has ever been unfaithful to his wife Heidi.

'Senator Cruz,' DailyMail.com asked him, 'can you please swat down more definitively this National Enquirer piece by telling us on the record that you've never been unfaithful to your wife?'

The National Enquirer published a story last Wednesday that speculated about five women with whom the Republican presidential candidate was rumored to have had extramarital affairs.

Cruz has batted down the specifics of the story on numerous occasions since it appeared in supermarket checkout lanes.

But instead of making a blanket declaration that he has been faithful during the entirety of his 14-year marriage – a move that would effectively end the vicious news cycle – Cruz stood silently as campaign surrogate Carly Fiorina leapt in to intercept the question and change the subject.

I’ve read that Heidi just bailed on NJ but we should expect to see her in Wisconsin since their primary is closer. The NJ primary isn’t until June.

“But I tell ya now, I showed my husband the pics and tweets from that Amanda Carpenter and I can’t say I would still have a husband after that nonsense.

And Amanda Carpenter holds the bible high too!”

Amanda has been spreading fuel on the fire. It’s really weird.

“Has Donald Trump always been faithful to his wives?”

Can you please try to stay on topic. This discussion is about Ted Cruz, not Donald Trump. Everyone already knows about Trump’s indiscretions. That’s old news.

This on the other hand is NEW. Also it is about the anointed, next saviour, next Christian King, holier than thou, bible raising, preacher speaking, Saint, Ted (chosen by God himself) Cruz.

Nah, he’s guilty we’ve all seen this before in political figures and we know how it is gonna play out, he’s just being given time to try to damage Trump.

Notice every time he’s ask about it, he bashes Trump when there is no evidence Trump is involved, but won’t simply say I’ve always been faithful.

Let it go he’s a phony politician, and not a savior.”

Cruz’s fan says he is tired of answering the question, but he’s not tired of bashing Trump even though everyone knows it was Rubio’s supporters who tried to get the story in the news.

Even Sean Hannity admitted they had the story earlier, Breitbart had the story, evidently the Washington Times also, and I’m sure others. There is evidently some sort of video compilation to go along with the story.

I personally think it was wrong for the media to hide this story. They didn’t have to do a National Enquirer type story. But the media should have asked both Ted and Heidi about the rumors way before now. Who knows who would still be in the race if the story had already been vetted. Perhaps the Evangelicals would have rallied around Ben.

I saw Ben speak before he actually ran for President. He told a story about how TPTB came to him and said someone was claiming that she had a child by him. They wanted his DNA. He said that he knew he had only been with one woman in his whole life, his wife (EASY QUESTION, EASY ANSWER) and decided not to give them any DNA they could plant some where else. The story went no where of course because he had always been faithful, but they sure tried.

“Cruz is well advised not to give any more credibility to these slanders than they deserve, i.e. NONE AT ALL.”

It is easy to say “I have never been unfaithful to my wife”, if it is true. but Cruz is worried about something.

As I just posted, Ben Carson was asked this question, even had a woman claiming he fathered her child. Ben said he had never been unfaithful. The story went no where.

“If he came out and said he had never cheated, I would believe him until proven otherwise. But, that is me.
Me, too. That’s why it’s so disturbing that he didn’t, even after several days and several opportunities...”

I actually thought the reporter was trying to help him by asking the question. He spoon fed the question to Cruz and still Cruz couldn’t say “He was never unfaithful”

I thought it was also interesting when he asked who the reporter was with. He knew the American media had the story and refused to run it. He forgot about the UK press.

There’s been a news black out on the story and no one focuses on that. Evidently, everyone in the media knows that the rumors was out there. In fact Liz Mair of the Melania “Support Cruz” ad, claimed that the story about Katrina is false. But added she heard Katrina came on to Ted. So they had planned to throw Katrina under the bus, but decided on Trump instead. Why did she just pick out Katrina as being a false allegation? There were 5 women.
Another woman, Amanda, has been tweeting all sorts of things that don’t help her at all.

Here’s Liz’s tweet about Katrina. They don’t mind spreading this rumor about Katrina.

@LizMair

Ted Cruz should sue over obv false allegation he had an affair w @KatrinaPierson, tho I’ve heard she might have come onto him. Who knows.

This Liz Mair is another on the fringes of politics, using this election to try to carve a niche for herself.

She's just gross.

You are on point. While I would like my candidate to be above board I know that is a pipe dream and in the end “what does it matter” the bar was set by Bill...
