Transgender Woman Raped Inside Bathroom At Historic Gay Bar

The NYPD is investigating the alleged attack in Greenwich Village’s Stonewall Inn.

A transgender woman reported to police that she was raped inside the bathroom at the historic New York City gay bar Stonewall Inn on Saturday night.

The 25-year-old victim told police she entered the bar’s single occupancy unisex bathroom when a man claiming he needed to wash his hands walked in behind her. He then allegedly groped and raped her, before fleeing the scene.

The victim left the Christopher Street bar in the Greenwich Village neighborhood and returned an hour later, according to an NYPD spokesman. The victim then called 911 and was taken to a nearby hospital.

The NYPD confirmed to BuzzFeed News that the department’s sixth precinct is investigating the incident and that no arrests had been made as of Monday morning.

The Stonewall Inn was the site of the 1969 protest that gave birth to the LGBT rights movement and was declared a New York City landmark in 2015.

A spokesperson for the bar did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

And the Lambda Society, Human Rights Campaign and their willing accomplices at the ACLU and SPLC are frantically putting out propaganda about how sexual assaults among LGBT-ers are almost non existent compared to straights. The so-called stonewall "uprising" was nothing more than an attempted mob bust gone bad. Most gay bars have been mobbed up for years. Anyone familiar with the liquor and bar business is well aware that as a demographic, gays are notoriously heavy drinkers with $$$ to burn. In fact fmr openly gay NFL player Macheal Samm's significant other's uncle controlled many gay bars in the Midwest. I guess he was the, ahem, Fairy Godfather?
