I love this, RS. DRUDGE is silent, TRUMP is found in high church on Easter Sunday, off celebrating a grandson, taking a much deserved respite while enjoying a comfortable hiatus with his family.
OTOH, Cruz apparently misses church entirely, this paragon of faith, makes all the unholy Sunday news rounds, stuck neck deep stewing, in his own messes, shadow boxing TRUMP who isn’t even there to play, but who is happily leaving Ted to swim to land under a tidal wave of exposes and media driven. This is rich.. really, really rich.

What I will tell you is that there are things that I wouldn’t do. I’m not an open border’s person. There’s no way I would go to the border and ham it up with illegal aliens.
I would not hand out teddy bears, soccer balls, or anything else. It’s just a matter of my core beliefs, not wanting to provide any perks whatsoever to illegal aliens at the border, and an insensitivity to the people who are victimized by illegal aliens. None of this is shared by Ted in his core.
We are all the victims of illegal immigrants one way or another. Our tax dollars go to support them. Their children clog our schools so much so that citizens can’t even send their kids to our public schools in many places.
Our health care industry is victimized by illegal aliens who present themselves at the doors and demand treatment.
There are other goods and services provided by our government, and I couldn’t take part in a frivolous show of compassion for folks doing this to our nation.
The victims of major and moderate crime at the hands of some of these people, deserve better.
Ted telegraphed too much with his actions on the border IMO.
So I am not confident he doesn’t have sympathy in his heart for the illegal alien, and that’s where the slide into worse things begin.
Seriously now... anybody could see something like this coming miles away. BusTED’s Bible thumping, his sleazy campaign and his quick to suck up to the GOPe when he could get there support is all symptomatic of a guy with no moral compass.
