The big temptation is to go out there and prophesy gloom and doom to everyone, which then makes the gospel sound rather unattractive because it is a message of countercultural victory.
Various warnings for sure, but never ever without the core invitation being present. God didn’t present Himself to us in order to be a club for us to field to avenge our various spoiled resentments.
The Gospel will always be unattractive thanks to the god of this world. That is, until the world changes.
