Seems like Lyft could have put him on the list of passengers to warn affiliates to pick up only at their own risk, that Lyft is not going to get involved further.
But Lyft belongs to the world and it has its own rules.
In fact the conclusion we must come to after most things like this is that we are seeing the world be the world, once more.
We can’t take it over by fiat or threats. That only lowers us. We might be able to win it by presenting it a better picture than what it has.
It will be unattractive to some, potentially attractive to others.

I drove a cab in college and once in a while, you get a passenger who is an ass and tries to provoke.
The best thing to do is to say nothing or expel the passager from the cab.
