High School Mural Features Communist, La Raza Propaganda
Progressives Today ^ | March 26, 2016 | Michael Strickland

Lincoln High School in Portland, Oregon, sports a series of murals painted in its main entrance that feature communist and La Raza/Aztlan propaganda. Take a gander at these! Note the American flag with the hammer and sickle in place of the stars, the white arms in shackles with what appears to be Fidel Castro with the Cuban flag behind him, men with guns, an image of Che Guevara, dollar bills, and what appears to be missiles popping up from silos. Perhaps this is some kind of imagery of strong border control?

Michael Strickland is a local version of James O'Keefe, & keeps an eye on what the lefties in Portland are up to. Amazing what's going on in our schools these days.

Idiots embracing Mexico and Communism. I think I should just go ahead and hold onto Mr 870 for a while.

Since Hispanic is part of my heritage, there is no way in h*ll that I would support a racist organization like La Raza.

I’m only speculating here but the only reason to belong is if immigrants from Mexico never assimilated properly and I do believe that was a huge problem with the amnesty of the 1980’s and of course, illegals that are allowed to live here illegally (that is, until Trump runs them out).

Indeed.

Think about it: the OSP reacts to property rights protests with ruthless violence.

All while protecting State enforced homosexuality (Avakian and Governor Kate “Dildo Girl” Brown) and...Cuban Communism.

Just wow. The Reds are back...and they’re armed.

That’s OK. At a certain high school in NYC, the Hispanic principal has several posters hung in the hall, which are the first things a visitor coming out of the elevator sees. One says “Columbus didn’t discover America-—he conquered it”. One is a tribute to Che Guevara. The third one says something about La Raza. I found it absolutely disgusting in a public-funded school. Then, in another school, I saw a poster outside the guidance office for DREAMERS and the college scholarships available for them. This is the same school where a couple of the guidance counselors have Bernie bumper stickers stuck on their doors. Of course, if a few 18 y.o. students would “accidentally” be influenced to therefore vote for dear OLD Bernie, the guidance counselors could not be blamed, right? This is a school which is libtard heaven, where teachers and the principal are called by their first names. I am sure I know who most of the faculty is voting for!

Yep - and they've been steadily working for decades to get their fingers on the triggers.

You know what? You remind me of only about a few hundred Americans or Hispanic ancestry I knew in the military and elsewhere. They loved their culture, and were damn loyal Americans, leading the charge.

And it has always been. Juan Abamillo, Juan A. Badillo, Carlos Espalier, Gregorio Esparza, Antonio Fuentes, and Andrés Nava. They were all DEFENDERS at the Alamo. Or remember Francita Alavez, the angel of Goliad who was able to save about 20 Texans from certain death.

Pisses me off when people automatically assume al Hispanics share the treason to America, or Mexico first agenda.

Yeah, our schools are really bad when it comes to being filled with statists. For them, it’s probably indoctrinating kids for their own self-preservation.

The only way to get rid of that is to privatize our school systems, that would take out the loyalty towards a big government system they belong to.

Yeah, I come from a large Hispanic American family. I know that is redundant as someone else pointed that out previously, lol, but quite a few are on the Constitutional abiding side of things. It is a great document, regardless of race.

I think the Hispanics the media likes to use to help push their agenda are the post-amnesty Hispanics of the 1980’s. Amnesty did not allow many to assimilate properly as an American citizen. That’s just one reason why amnesty is wrong for America.

This must be nipped in the bud.

When did it become acceptable to allow our primary schools to be used as tools of "enemies domestic?" that is a serious question, loaded with consequences which inevitably will result in open social warfare.

Where on earth did the members of these school boards come from? Are they all even citizens? Is that important? It is because if you need to ask the question, you are an undesirable part of a truly critical problem.

You may be indifferent to the continued existence of American culture and values. We the People, collectively determine what those are.

No individual, elected or not, has the right (gall?) to presume to define them for us. Certainly, no foreign national, or foreign national supporter can casually assume to have that right without serious and permanent resistance from American citizens. To ignore that is to ignore the certain inevitable social explosion.

The foreign embracers and sympathizers may be oblivious to it, but the result will not be pretty for anyone. BUT IT IS CERTAIN.

That the ignorant and arrogant can't see it is understandable.
That the rest of us do is a call to action that has a limit.
I am eager to be alive when that limit can no longer be ignored.

So true. A lot of Hispanic families in TX and the other states that were once part of Mexico have been here since the beginning.

When I talk about Mexicans I always clarify that I am talking about people that are from Mexico, not the Hispanic race.

I couldn't agree with you more, Gato.

Hispanic is part of my heritage too, but American is my culture unconditionally. No way in hell I would support the racist La Raza but, further than that, I will oppose them to the death...
Their decision.

To underscore my feelings on the subject, I am officially adopting my war persona as "Tejón de miel..." (honey badger)

There are millions of us who up to now were content to live as Americans, enjoying their hispanic heritage, but Americans first.

It pisses me off that we get NO press whatsoever.

That will change, WTSHTF.

You say we have to privatize our school systems? Who’s gonna pay for that? Many parents cannot afford $12,000 or more annual tuition. Who’s gonna decide what is taught? Parents with no educational background? Pols with no educational background but with a very strong agenda to control?

If local control was returned to schools, it would greatly improve them because the parents would have a direct input instead of shady administrators hiding a bunch of stuff in verbose documents and behind closed doors. This centralized control leaves the curricula and discipline measures to far few people, who usually end up being extreme libtards. The parents could have an input as to the curricula by meeting with the teachers and effecting a collaboration aided by the professional training the teachers have undergone.

There should be a move against grade stats being the basis on which to judge teachers, because they can only work with what walks into their classroom. You can lead a student to learning, but you can’t make them think or participate. The more freebies and handouts they know they can get by doing NOTHING, the less incentive they have to work hard in school and make something of themselves. Is that the teacher’s fault? No.
