He didn’t “confirm.” He sent a tweet. Confirmation requires evidence. And calling the guy a “writer” is intended imply that he was a reporter. But he wrote opinion pieces on topics such as government waste.
A suspicious person might think the GOP was holding this to release in order to knock Cruz out after he had won the caucuses where his organization gave him a good chance to win. Now there are a bunch of elections in northern states where they want Kasich to be the only alternative to Trump. Of course that would mean they were only using Trump to get an open convention so they could foist someone other than Trump or Cruz on us. Nah, that’s just paranoid.
Trump and Cruz have to combine forces. But chances of that happening? LOL.

And he hasn’t CONFIRMED anything.
Has there been a single reported “fact” about this “scandal”? None. The NE is looking into rumors. The Washington Times guy says that “From what I know, at least 2 of the women named as Cruz mistresses by the National Enquirer are accurate”. What does that mean? Accurate that they had affairs with Cruz? Accurate that they exist? Accurate that they are 2 of the people NE is reporting about? “From what I know”? What does he know? What information does he draw on to confirm whatever he’s supposedly confirming? How is his information verified?
The Cruz ‘scandal’ is completely phony. No facts. No evidence. No proof. No testimony. No documentation. Nothing.
Amanda Carpenter’s tweeter feed for the past 3 years is filled with little remarks about Cruz. She calls him “daddy”, “sweet”, and goes on to say she she only dates married men because there’s not commitment and that’s how she likes to keep it. The minute her sister or brother in law is interviewed about the affair Cruz will end his campaign. It’s coming. Stay tuned.

On Twitter he posted his check stub with a very recent date and mentioned he is still getting paid by Wa Times. Plus he said they never called him to sever the relationship.
I hope he gets an attorney to straighten it all out.
Amanda Carpenter has now DELETED ALL of her tweets prior to March 1 of this year.
A couple days ago, she had tweets on her Twitter page going back to at least 2014, and I personally saw the tattoo tweets on April 1, 2014.
So, Frank Luntz doing all-nighter focus grouping to find what excuse, errr, reason, works, errr, explains to the tools, the message the highly intelligent Crooze was sending. Once the scheme is manufactured expect el Rushbo, to spend the day getting the word out. However, until that clever messaging gets sorted out don’t expect to hear a peep from the Talkmeister.
On the other hand, anyone believe Rush maintains radio silence if Trump had stated, “Let me be very clear, Ted Cruz is a rat, and I have no desire to copulate with a rat”?
