GQ sales department confirmed Jeff Roe ordered the ad (Melania Trump)
On twitter today, they say that the Cruz campaign actually bought the rights to Melania’s picture. I didn’t realize that when I saw the article about Jeff Roe ordering the ad, but it makes sense. How else could they use Melania’s picture in that ad.
To me it wasn’t as much about the picture, but the reasons it was used and the nasty attack on Mrs Trump by those attached words that was beyond the pale.
Those pics are out there and the Trumps have never tried to hide them.
Thing is, Cruz would have easily won Utah without disparaging Melania Trump.
So now we know why it was done and we also know why Rubio didn’t sign on with Ted.
The significance is it proves it was the Cruz camp attacked Trumps wife first. Not a PAC as they claimed. Its a smoking gun to show direct involvement.
To make it worse it was part of a deceptive Cruz camp plan to drag Trump into it to confuse voters over the Cuban Mistress Crisis that they knew Rubio camp had set up and NE was going to run.
So, I have done a few Internet searches about this.

Also, there is a separate company, Conde Nast, that handles all permissions for the use of copyrighted photos from GQ. It is apparently not handled by anyone at GQ.
Do you have any information that contradicts that?
Please provide a link to the article that states Jeff Roe secured the rights to the Melania pic. I have been scouring the web looking for some such independent verification and it all leads back to a twitter account/s. I have written GQ to ask about it and have yet to hear back.
So if you have an independent source with a quote or anything besides twitter, I will be more than happy to review it as it is an explosive bit of information as you could well understand. Thanks

Just love how for the past 2 days Levin and Limbaugh went over and over and on and on about how the PAC that released the picture was an “Anti-Trump” PAC, not a “Pro-Cruz” PAC. So inspite Levin’s screaming and ranting, they were totally wrong, and “pure as the driven snow” Cruz (who has had 8 alleged affairs) actually was involved in the smear attack of Melania.

Do you have a link for that? The only thing I have found so far is a tweet with someone making that claim. Nothing from GQ though.

What article? The only thing I have seen is some anonymous person making the claim on Twitter with zero evidence to back it up.
