A popular Muslim shopkeeper was murdered in Glasgow, Scotland by another Muslim last Thursday, mere hours after posting a warm Easter message on Facebook to "my beloved Christian nation."
The shopkeeper, 40-year-old Asad Shah, was a devout Muslim who originally hailed from Rabwah in Pakistan, reports The Telegraph on Saturday. According to an eyewitness, in addition to stabbing him his assailants stomped on his head.
Roughly four hours before his brutal murder, Shah wrote on Facebook: "Good Friday and a very Happy Easter, especially to my beloved Christian nation. Let's follow the real footstep of beloved holy Jesus Christ and get the real success in both worlds."
He was then found seriously wounded on Minard Road, Glasgow, and taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where medical staff were forced to pronounce his death.
On Friday afternoon, police announced they had arrested a 32-year-old Muslim man for taking part in the murder.
"A full investigation is under way to establish the full circumstances surrounding the death which is being treated as religiously prejudiced," added a police spokesperson.
An eyewitness told the Daily Record on condition of anonymity: "as I drove past I saw two men standing over the victim. One was stamping on his head. There was a pool of blood on the ground. It was horrific."
“The police arrived in minutes and the poor guy was getting CPR at the scene. I really hope he pulls through.”

I hope Shah meant what he wrote - and that some time before 'checkout' he was able to see our beloved Holy Jesus Christ as Lord. If so, he is resting in a better place.
This is why Islam can never clean up their own house.
There were two stomping on his head. Giving the benefit of the doubt, for every “peaceful” Muslim there are two ready and willing Jihadists. Odds are poor either way. All incipient Jihadists or twice as many Jihadists than “peaceful” ones.
As far as this poor man is concerned. I pity what appeared to be a good heart in a religion where good hearts are merely a weakness to be exploited and destroyed.

I haven’t read the details of this story. I suppose he was alone in his shop or home when this happened? Such a disgrace and no teddy bears or flowers left at his place of work can make up for the evil. Something must be done.

They had some kind of "Messiah" figure in the late 19th century who taught that all the violence stuff in the Koran and so forth was allegorical: the true jihad. battle, is the internal struggle within oneself against sin and the temptations of the devil and so forth.

Exactly. I think in Pakistan it’s an article of the Constitution or something, that Ahmadis are not to be considered Muslims, are not to be allowed to enter a mosque, are not allowed to organize their own mosques, etc. etc. I don’t think they’re even allowed to quote or read from the Koran in public.
