The coming Trump landslide
Worldnet Daily ^ | 3/24/2016 | Joseph Farah

May I, as a Ted Cruz supporter, just step in here for a minute and explain why Donald Trump, as Republican nominee for president, will win a landslide election victory over Hillary and actually be a welcome alternative to the kind of leadership America has experienced for the last 27 years?

I don’t care what the national polls say now about a matchup between Trump and Clinton. I am old enough to remember vividly what the polls between Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter looked like in 1980 at this point in the presidential campaign. They suggested Reagan had no chance to win. He trailed Carter in the polls by double digits. He went on to carry 44 states that year, including New York and California – 49 states four years later.

That is very close to what I expect Trump to do to Hillary if he becomes the nominee.

Why do I think that?

Denying it is pure ignorance. But thanks for playing.

Don Pardo, please tell him what his parting gifts are...

Reagan was “likable,” DJT is not - so that comparison is invalid;
DJT’s opponent is more likable;
DJT switches opinions/positions at the drop of the hat or poll which ever comes first;
DJT is not a conservative;
DJT will have to drastically raise taxes to pay for his new improved single payer health plan;
DJT has absolutely no manned deep space plan;
DJT is for big government - see eminent domain;
DJT is the ultimate crony capitalist;
DJT has no clue about the ME, and therefore ISIS;
DJT as President will make Americans long for the good old days of 0bama.

Cruz is much the same but he waves the Bible better ...

All that said, either is better than Hillary/Sanders.

Well right now assume it is not true and a distraction.

But if it keeps lingering and dripping then something might be up. And the National Enquirer has hit home runs with this kind of thing. John Edwards comes to mind and that took close to a year to ripen but it was never going away.

500 million? We are beginning to see some serious transfer of wealth. I hope the big shots keep spending. I’d like to see a billion.

I haven’t seen this much self delusion among otherwise intelligent conservatives since the Christine O’Donnell fiasco back on 2010.

Yes last night I thought about his daughters, but if this is true which won’t shock me a bit. Ted should have thought about it before he went to do stupid things. I just hope and pray the girls are sheltered from all this until it passes.

Convincing yourself of something that isn’t is pure fantasy. So I thank you for playing also.

Obama could at least appear to be likeable.

This is key

A majority personally like BHO but they oppose his policies.

One major truism when it comes to HRC is the more people hear her, the lower her numbers go. She does better when people don’t hear.

We’ll see, when the campaign starts, if that causes trump to shift his negatives, which for now, are greater than hers

Denying it is pure ignorance.

Believing it is sheer insanity.

I agree with you. They owuld not have let this out if it had no basis for fact.

These swindle sheets, and this one in particular, have been sued beofre for this. They would be very careful now because of that fact.

Clinton did not give it much thought and lowed ahead. Neither did John Edwards. Why should Cruz be any different.

Assuming this is true, politicians do not care. It’s about raw power. These days in politics it is all about what you can get away with.

The only thing I have any concern about is the GOPe stopping Trump. Once he gets the nomination I have zero doubts that he will annihilate Hillary Clinton or any other Democrat candidate.

There was Gary Hart too.

It’s too bad humans make mistakes like this.

And I agree, I have no idea if Ted did this sort of thing.

Well, you should be old enough to know that Ronald Reagan wasn’t spoiled rotten rich kid that grew up to be a carnival barker.

"The #TedCruzSexScandal changes everything."

The mainstream media silence on this is deafening. No one is even really talking about the "buzz" around it.

None of the ladies are on Twitter denying the allegations (except for one unnamed woman), Cruz not denying, Trump not reporting.

The silence is truly bizarre.

well we do know it was reported last August that Ted Cruz’s name was found in the database of the list of clients on the Ashley Madison site. Remember, it was hacked and all sort of gov types were found to be on it.

I don’t believe Trump’s name was on that list. But Cruz is so much more moral...snort!

Apparently that story got buried. Here’s a link for reminders.
