Marriage is declining because men don’t want to get screwed in the end. It’s a sad unfortunate truth.

Marriage is declining because today’s females are more interested in making the bad choices of bad-boy youth and THEN expecting to rehabilitate themselves to self satisfaction through some poor schmuck they can dominate and decimate if things don’t work out.

Also, if children aren’t even on the table for an increasing number of people, much of the incentive to marry is gone.
My town is building a “bark park” for Americans and their dogs; further down the greenway is the soccer field for the (foreign) children that represent most of the under-20 demographic in town (and throughout this country).

Those women are married, to the Federal government. And as single mothers, they are encouraged to wallow forever in the poverty level. Husband Uncle Sam offers nothing but the promise of ever declining quality of life, as well as an absolute poverty of the soul.

I’ve seen several reasons why my male friends have ended up divorced. Some have married woman who believe their role should be breadwinner. Which would be fine if they were up to the task. Instead they live in a fantasy world where they can start companies or lie on their resume to get high powered jobs. It is embarrassing and impossible to live with somebody who sees and entirely unreal world around them.
Some women who have overdosed on romance novels. They believe conflict is life and then they’ll get to the end and live happily ever after. But the novels don’t deal with the after-the-marriage. There is no happily ever after. They are looking for something that doesn’t exist.
That’s just two of the general types of marriage failure I’ve witnessed. There are examples where the male is at fault. But I think mostly failure is caused by unrealistic expectations on the part of the woman who distains the role of supportive wife and mother.
There are women who can be a stupendous breadwinner. They need to find a man willing to swap roles. There are plenty of manly men willing to play house-husband and raise kids. But you need to work out the roles in advance of marriage.
So.....someone got dumped shortly after Valentine's Day, eh?
