You nor I nor any mortal convicts a person and leads them to repent. It’s dangerous pride to go with that idea. Our job is to spread the Gospel. The Holy Spirit is the One who does the drawing, the birth of realization of sin and conversion.

It is not dangerous pride to recognize when one is gifted with evangelical ability, confirmed through several sources. In fact it would be dangerous pride to fail to use it.
