Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump on Tuesday weighed in on the Brussels terror attacks on Twitter, commenting on how "safe" and "beautiful" the Belgian city used to be.
"Do you all remember how beautiful and safe a place Brussels [was]," he tweeted. "Not anymore, it is from a different world! U.S. must be vigilant and smart!"
"I've been talking about this for a long time," Trump said during a Tuesday-morning appearance on "Fox & Friends."

He added: “Brussels was a beautiful city, a beautiful place, with zero crime. And now it’s a disaster city.”
Trump continued:
“We have to be smart in the United States when people come in. We’re taking in people without real documentation, we don’t know where they’re coming from, we don’t know ... who they are. You look at them from any standpoint, they could be ISIS, they could be ISIS-related. And we just don’t learn. We don’t learn.”
Common sense. Not too many people have it anymore.

Trump called it. I was in Brussels decades ago. Beautiful city. Its population is now over 25% Muslim, with predictable results.

I have some dear Christian friends that call it "uncommon sense" as it is uncommon. And it is found here @ FR by vast quantities. Combine Uncommon Sense with Critical Thinking and you have the cornerstone of what makes up a Conservative IMHO.
BTW, this attack and Trump's response will not hinder him in the polls, just the opposite.
We lived in Europe for six years .... Always felt so safe there, and we also used to listen to our Getman friends brag about that fact ....
Look at these pathetic Europeans running in fear after this attack...

The late Libertarian Gay Talk Show Host David Brudnoi out of Boston ( and who the MA-GOP asked to run for Governor and declined ) said something to the effect it could lead to the Bosniaification of America and was on a screed against it in the mid-90's. Way ahead of his time he was.
