What do you mean by Republican principles, Jim ?
Jim Steineke, Wisconsin Assembly Majority Leader, endorses Ted Cruz.
FReep mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
Madison and Milwaukee calls the shots, and those Dems and blue-collar types there are crossing over to Trump's side.
Doesn’t matter since they’re interchangeable
That's another mistake the Majority Leader has made. No cheese for him today.
So are we now supposed to hate this guy too?
bttt!
Madison/Milwaukee Democrat voters call the shots in DEMOCRAT elections. There are just as many - if not more Republican and conservative voters in suburban Waukesha, Washington & Ozaukee counties. However, for the last 20 years, the determining factor in Wisconsin elections has actually been Fox Valley/Green Bay voters. And that region has become far less bue-collar and Democrat.
Also, the ballot will be filled with a state Supreme Court race and a Milwaukee mayoral race. If what you hypothesize about blue collar Dems was correct, Alderman Bob Donovan would be leading the Obama-backed incumbent Mayor Tom Barrett in the polls, not trailing by 25+ percent.
Trump will not crack 20% in Wisconsin.
“Trump will not crack 20% in Wisconsin.”
How in the world did Scott Walker win
My 95 year old mother has already voted for Cruz on her absentee ballot...and I helped! :{)
Ummm....OK. I trust the judgement of the actual cartoon character Sideshow Bob than you.
Well, Scott Walker (a personal friend, btw) is an actual Republican who demonstrated a consistent record as a conservative politician and idealogue for 20 years prior to his election as Governor.
Scott Walker is a genuinely nice guy - literally a Boy Scout - who was able to unify TEA Party, traditional conservatives and the GOP Establishment behind a substantive, well-articulated and positive campaign.
The Donald has few - if any - of those traits in his effort.
"You can't handle the truth. No truth-handler, you. I deride your truth-handling abilities."
A Vote for Cruz is a vote for Cruz.. A vote for Trump is stupid because that is what he is.. About as sharp as a leading edge of his golf ball!!!
