Whatever happens, it's too bad the meeting won't be televised. I suspect it would get a lot of viewers. They'd never televise their quibbling and groveling - or their veiled threats.

The old crony-club of entrenched incumbents are all so damn crooked that they really can’t get solidly behind Donald Trump. That’s their problem. It’s nothing Donald Trump has said.

His supporters should not panic. I predict this is not the great sell-out. The meeting was arranged by Senator Jeff Sessions, the man said to have the greatest influence on Trump and not one known for selling out. This could be the beginning... even if a tentative one... of the end of Trump Derangement Syndrome and some kind of reconciliation.

I think this is what this is all about...Jeff is a uniter and so is Trump...everybody with common sense knows Trump is going to take the nomination, well maybe not Hillary, Soros or Bush Crime Family, but the American Voters know this...Good Job Jeff Sessions...

Personally I don’t think Trump can beat Hillary (or come anywhere close). If we’re going to lose by a wide margin anyway then I would favor a third party fielding a true conservative. What better time than when the GOP is putting forth a liberal clown and is hopelessly behind the Democrat anyway?
To: SeekAndFind
For starters, Trump could agree to cool his sometimes wince-inducing rhetoric... Is there anyone who honestly believes that Trump is capable of doing that?
... and stop dissing his fellow Republicans, to observe the Reagan Rule, as it were.
Again, is there anyone who thinks Trump could do that? And, in all fairness, that any of his opponents would do that as well?
To: SeekAndFind
For starters, Trump could agree to cool his sometimes wince-inducing rhetoric and stop dissing his fellow Republicans, to observe the Reagan Rule, as it were. The GOP establishment for their part could agree to quit distancing themselves from Donald and back him up, when they can (as when demonstrators try to restrict his free speech), and to embrace him and his legion of potential new Republicans, rather than alienating them. Time for the GOPe to get on the train and start cutting some deals with Trump OR, They're fired.

Well George F. Will certainly believes that.

People who claim to be conservative but never do anything actually conservative, like stopping spending or protecting Americans from invasion, are the ones who love to claim that Trump is not conservative. This election is about telling those phonies to go to hell.
That now includes Ted Cruz. He is a phony.

Yea, Ted sure has blown it. I thought that he would have been a good man for the SC. Not any more.

I have said it before and will say it again. Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III should be Donald Trump’s Pick for VP...he’s southern...smart and knows the in’s and outs of the Senate and how to get stuff done thru congress plus he has such a delightful southern sounding name we have never had a Beauregard and it sure beats the crud of Cankle’s Hillary.

Correct To quote another, “That’s not who we are”
At some point in time, these horrid men(men being questionable here) will find they must remove their banner and show themselves for what they are. This event would never be seen due to censorship and porn issues.
Ecstatic to see Sen Sessions taking on this responsibility.
After watching the Donald televised press conference moments ago notice he showed us a side that few of us have ever seen. His exchange with a reporter in the audience. If you’ve the opportunity and have not seen this, make the attempt. Seems the man is continually searching for sharp, good people.

While Kristol, Will, Goldberg et al continue their Missy fit you can absolutely count on the fact that Trump and the party are starting to come together under the table. Its pretty obvious Trump is going to be the GOP nominee and will likely have 1237 delegates before the convention. Cruz and Kasich are on their last 15 minutes of fame.
