Microsoft founder Bill Gates has broken with other Silicon Valley giants by backing the FBI in its battle with Apple over hacking into a locked iPhone as part of the investigation into last December's San Bernardino terror attack.

In an interview with the Financial Times published Tuesday, Gates said a court order requiring Apple to help the FBI access a work phone belonging to gunman Syed Farook was " a specific case where the government is asking for access to information. They are not asking for some general thing, they are asking for a particular case."

Gates is an Agenda 21/New World Order man. What he says must be considered with that in mind.

Precisely. That and the fact that anything that makes Apple less secure is a “win” for his buggy, hackable, OS.

We cannot allow government to have any and everything it wants—especially at the detriment of the citizens. Crackable encryption is poor encryption. Other governments and bad people can use those holes to hurt us, while other governments and bad people can use bulletproof means of encryption to evade our government.

The US government wants these backdoors to cheaply and easily spy on all of us, because we are the only people the US government has authority over.

Think about it.

Maybe gates will release all of microsofts source code to the gubbmint so they can give it to the H1B hordes to actually make it work and encrypted emails will be no more.

Well, considering that Windows is less secure than our southern border I’m not surprised that he thinks operating system publishers should be required to pass everything to any country’s police. Having a secure, encrypted competitor puts Microsoft at a disadvantage,

Gates should understand enough about operating systems to know this is a lie.

Therefore, I can only presume he is lying or he doesn’t understand the case. To create the signed O/S is to open Pandora’s Box. There is no way for the genie to be put back into the bottle.

If opening one phone and cannot have software to open any other without court order on specific phone then I would agree. But the problem is with the corruption both in the private sector and especially the Government they will get the key and be able to open all of them. As far as Microsoft dingbat Gates, they will insist on getting all your shi! open once they decide so be careful you might get your ars whipped..

Something to keep in mind the next time you have to decide whether Microsoft and Microsoft products will safeguard your privacy and data, OR NOT.

What an ignorant comment.

Windows 10 was recently approved by the US military as meeting their security standards. You won’t find Apple in that club.

What are you basing that comment on? Please provide examples of Windows Phone being less secure than iPhone.
