10 million people on disability. Most largely much younger than 65. This doesn’t even account for the SSI that SSA manages and disburses for Obama and his government.

People who worked their whole lives see their full benefit age delayed year by year.

While the money they put in goes to pay for who-knows-what for who-knows-whom.

“60,199,914 beneficiaries”

Likely a large percentage of which don’t deserve benefits.

“8,896,604 disabled workers”

Mostly scammers.

My husband and I paid into SS when we were working through college. We’ll never see that money because of our pensions. How’s that for fair? The system needs scrapped. It’s back door socialism.

Is the Pyramid Scheme called Social Security still holding up?

All socialist Ponzi schemes start as “backdoor” schemes. This is the Fabian approach, versus the Marxist one (violent revolution).

Not following you, why would a pension make you ineligible to collect SS?

Keep the system for people over 55. The system will be gone in 30 years. Millennials(under 35) drop out completely with a $5k HSA-Obama Care gone. Age 35 to 55? You tell me.

It's the "let them eat dog food" crowd showing their true colors. These retired multi millionaires on a pension complain because SS is taxable income. The answer is simple; make SS receipts non taxable.

State employees do not get to collect SS.

70 million paid from the social security taxes, yet only 100 million working and 2/3sa of those are part timers.

There is no way social security taxes pay for all those checks.

We’ll never see that money because of our pensions.

Nonsense. However, you may be taxed on a part of your SS retirement benefits if the gov't. thinks your pension is too high.

The system needs scrapped.

If that sentence is an indication of the education you received at college, you should demand a refund of your tuition.

How many people have gone to prison for Ponzi schemes, yet the granddaddy of them all continues to be perpetrated.

I’ll bet no more than 20% are elderly who paid into Social Security their entire lives.

Someone retired in my family was a Pennsylvania state employee and also gets SS. I’m sure you’re wrong about that.

Yes.... what’s called an unsecured liability that taxes will eventually have to support.

The real story is when those 20-50 million illegals become ‘legal’ and the government is forced to give them credit and status for SS they paid all these years under their fake and stolen SS numbers.

Anybody that thinks the SSA hasn’t been aware of this for decades and keeps track of fake and stolen SS numbers in separate accountings (so as not to credit real owners with undue credited income and payments to SS and have to pay them for it when they retire) is an abject fool. They have allowed this because it has been money in the bank for which they had no liability, and they didn’t give a tinker’s damn about how all of this would work out. What me Worry!
