[Have you ever gone to a Culver’s Fast Food restaurant?

Clean place, friendly, happy employees, good food. I love Culver’s.]

Same with Chick Fil A. The people that work there are a completely different, more advanced breed than those that work at a McD’s. I can’t remember the last time I went into a McDonalds for anything other than coffee.

The tax advantage of the capital cost of machinery writeoffs alone will be very valuable.

...the staff at my local McDonalds and Burger King seems to be generally efficient, fast and polite.

Around here there appear to be a substantial number of people you might categorize as "slow" working in fast food businesses. They are typically pleasant to deal with.

... and I've actually seen young people waiting in line to use the kiosk where there's a person standing behind the counter, waiting on nobody."

That's because the kiosk doesn't screw up your order like the non-english (or barely english speaking) counter worker......

Culvers and Chik fil-A have become favorites in our house.

McDonalds is ok for coffee and their sausage & egg McMuffins ... beyond that, meh.

“A machine won’t spit in your food, give you attitude or roll its eyes...”

Depends on the color of the machine, and the color of the President.

This is actually a very old idea. Some people might remember Automats.
