Trump Information 'Leaked' by Anonymous Has Been Online for a While by MATTHEW DELUCA and HALLIE JACKSON SHARE Share Tweet Share Email Print Comment Self-identified members of the loosely organized hacktivist group Anonymous posted what they claimed to be cellphone and Social Security numbers for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Thursday but the information appears to have been floating around online for a while.
A video claiming to be from Anonymous led to a post on the website Ghostbin, where unidentified people posted a Social Security number for Trump that appears to have been floating around online since at least 2013. It was unclear whether the number was actually Trump's.
The post also listed a cell phone number for Trump which the Republican front-runner himself tweeted out in August 2015, one day after Gawker published the number.
That website had posted Trump's number after the businessman himself gave out then-rival GOP presidential candidate Senator Lindsey Graham's number in July of last year.
Thank you @gawker! Call me on my cellphone 917.756.8000 and listen to my campaign message.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 4, 2015
He applied for his SSN in 1977. He needed it to get his first job, scooping ice cream for Baskin Robbins.
Back then, a child didn't need an SSN to be claimed as a dependent, so it was common not to have one until one's first job or first tax return, whichever came first.
The theory is, some clerk at the Baltimore Social Security office miskeyed the first digit of his ZIP, causing the computer to issue him the next number in the Connecticut range instead of the Hawaii range.
That's another birther fairy tale.
The layers are a product of the scan-to-PDF software they used. I am in the habit of using scan-to-PDF apps to digitize and OCR important paper mail before I shred it. So, I know how the software behaves. Often, when I open a scan, the document image will appear a fraction of a second before the text layer is painted onto it.
The scanner output is a series of raw, flat page images. During the conversion to PDF, the software identifies and separates out the text and OCRs it. The it packs the components together in the PDF, such that you can open the PDF in a viewer, search for specific words, and have them shown to you highlighted. It works well on a clean, laser-printed document, such as a bank statement. Not so well on the likes of Zero's long form, which contains a mix of hand-typed, haphazardly aligned text and hand writing.
Did Boris Johnson have an SSN before the IRS came after him?
Fine. Explain the signature lines at one pixlel.
“”All over the web. Google for 042-68-4425””
WRONG! Why do people persist in posting this nonsense? It’s really getting old. What IS all over the web is THIS IS NOT TRUE! SS Number verification FAILED. See doc attached. This spilled out of Orly Taitz who if you notice has grown pretty silent after stirring the pot and getting burned. There are more sources than this one but how many does a person need for crying out loud!

“”miskeyed the first digit of his ZIP””
I’ve seen the same explanation - the 9 and 0 were difficult to read or were transposed.....
