Gee whiz, I don’t know whether to get Maryland a towel or some STD cream.

Very true, though I'd probably use a blow torch analogy rather than a microwave for some guys. And, yes, patience is the key. And practice, lots and lots of practice which usually involves a strong emotional bond and strong commitment . . . the reason happily married people not only get more, but better quality.

And here I thought that it was cool the state flag had a swatch on it that looked like a racing flag. But of course it dated from way back before the automobile.

It’s the growing lack of patience and other family virtue that made songs like “After the Loving” distinctive by contrast.
Sex as an isolated pursuit is like calling a maraschino cherry a sundae. It isn’t. That’s stupid.

Superb analogy!
Now if only we could convince the rap song writers of this fundamental truth . . .

What they write comes from what they think. Trash generates trash.
But always one to do heaven’s one-upmanship when I can, I’ve been musing on the theme of “Heaven is better than sex.” Now wouldn’t that offend (superficially) holy rollers. Who’d DARE do that in church. But it’s so true.

They should replace it with the Nothing Song:
I see nothing, nothing, nothing
I see nothing all day long
I see absolutely nothing
How do you like my nothing song?

While they're at it, why don't the replace "The Star-Spangled Banner" with "The Internationale"? That would be more "inclusive".
This country is headed for destruction, and I think I will see it before I die.

C’mon now, in the 1970’s “After the Loving” was an alternate national anthem. That or “You Light up My Life”.
“Hey, darlin’, you come here often?”

Oh, for heaven’s sake! Like anyone ever sings that stanza. Morons.
Besides, I like the line about Northern scum.

The "Murderland" rap is also available, but you'd have cut out a lot more than two words to make it present able.
You'd dang near have to cut out the whole thing.

Never heard of this song.
Adopted in 1939, hardly a historical treasure. I guess the White democrats in charge then were neoconfederates uncaring that the state stayed in the union. Maybe they were mad that only Vermont and Maine voted against their despot FDR.
