Universal background checks — like those in California, Colorado, and Paris — are on the ballot in Nevada this November. Yup, it is on the Nevada ballot for Nov. We're trying but the IPOS/SPOS/UPOS/LPOS have been promised by nannie bloomers and the mommunists that this will put a complete stop to "gun violence" ever occuring again in Nevada. As a plus, they've also been (easily) convinced that it will put an end to all domestic violence in Nevada as well. Expect margabby kelly-giffords to be making appearances soon as well. But at least they support the 2nd amendment. No, really. They said so.

The background check is for the firearm owner not the firearm.

If they would remove the serial number of the firearm from the background form I would agree they are a good idea. As long as it remains a gun registry, I will remain against them.
