Lets just hope a group of these countries don’t decide to do something like this before Trump gets in. If they ever did attempt this, they’d be stupid to wait for Trump and the arm-up to follow.

We’ve been concentrating on boutique brigades in the last two decades, rather than divisions and corps level units. This may have been appropriate in the small wars that we have been fighting, but today we face huge challenges from huge Chinese and Russian forces that small brigades will not defeat. Our Air Force and Navy are also deficient in facing their counterparts. Our artillery has almost disappeared. Trump has recognized these deficiencies and will correct it.

Even before Sequestration (where the military was forced to absorb 50% of ALL Federal spending cuts despite being 12% of the budget), Obama and the GOP led Congress had voted to cut the miltary deeply 3 times.

As part of Sequestration, Entitlements (which are by far the largest portion of Federal spending) were exempt. The Republicans agreed with this.

However, spending for things such as ObamaCare soared - including over a half a Trillion dollars spent on Illegal Invaders for ObamaCare alone. They also got EBT, EITC, Section 8 Housing, and scores of other spending adding up into the Trillions.

Obama and Congress gave the military paltry pay raises, increased the cost of their medical insurance, and now have "reformed" military retirement to screw veterans out out of even that incentive.

And when war comes (and it will) the American people will pull out their EBT cards, eat some fast food, and wonder why our military was defeated.
