Kurt Bardella, a spokesman for Breitbart, has quit the company following an incident where one of its reporters accused GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump’s campaign manager of violently grabbing her.
"When you reach a point where you can't give 100% to people you represent, it's not tenable to continue representing them,” Bardella said in a statement to The Hill.
Bardella, a former spokesman for Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), also implied that Breitbart’s handling of the incident at the Trump event was his main reason for leaving.
“My own personal observation is that there is a cycle of behavior that is escalating and it's happening exclusively at Donald Trump events,” he said in the statement. “It is wrong, disgusting and indicative of an ugliness that is contaminating the public and political discourse in our country. Life is too short to invest your time in things you don't believe and aren't passionate about. That is why I made the decision to resign from representing Breitbart."

Bardella screwed up. It was apparent that the whole affair was perpetrated by a Secret Service agent who removed the female reporter who was blocking his path, and that agent looked like the Trump staffer who was accused wrongly by Bardella.

Proof Lewandowski shown not doing the hand grab on Fields:
Cspan video pic at 8 sec mark strongly suggests Lewandowski did NOT grab Fields. It would be impossible based on the angles for Lewandowski to do this hand grab. It had to be from someone behind Lewandowski.

The hand grab on Field’s forearm is clearly viewable in the pic but Lewandowski’s elbow and forearm extend towards Fields above and away from the hand grab. The hand grab on Field’s forearm matches the pics of Fields’ bruising location. But the hand grab came from someone (security?) behind Lewandowski.
I took a screen grab of this pic and marked it up to show this. Since I don’t know how to post images, I sent the pic to JimRob (private email) to see if he can get this up.
It would be nice if a few more people at Breitbart quit as well. Or, even better, got fired.
Maybe they’d become what they used to be.
That's plenty enough justification to react physically to check the possible threat while in a large crowd.
If you read this whole thing, even Brietbart admits it was most likely the Secret Service agent near Corey who also has “short cropped hair” who might have made contact with her. Brietbart says it is the most logical explanation:
“Given the similarity in appearance between Lewandowski and the security official, and given the fact that Lewandowski was walking on the other side of Trump from where Fields was at the time, the possibility of mistaken identity cannot be ruled out. Indeed, given Lewandowski’s adamant denials (coupled with statements inappropriately impugning Fields’s character), it is the likeliest explanation.”

I think maybe the pen was her phone. It’s silver anyway.
We’re told it was her right arm. I think it’s her left, based on the upper arm.
