NAFTA was signed into law by Bill Clinton. It passed the senate by one vote. That vote was cast by Al Gore, his first duty as veep. Clinton and Dole stood side by side cheering the treaty. And Perot has been proven right.

Bob Dole voted for it too, I believe.

LOL! I did not read your post carefully.... you stated that about Dole being side by side. Darlin and I were incensed at the betrayal at the time. Perot has indeed been proven right.

More democrats voted against it than republicans. Like I said, Gore was the tie breaker.

I said at the time when Bill Clinton stands side by side with Bob Dole on an issue it can’t be good for us.

I think Trump has also gone the “if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em” route. He and his son has made millions and millions, maybe billions, off of NAFTA freight.

Common Core is a terrible thing, but the opposition of Common Core needs to include a substitute. The problem with Common Core isn’t the concept, but what the core is made up of. The solutions for education must be made on a local level in the face of state testing requirements that drive elementary education in the wrong direction.

That is what separates Trump for the other 3, he isn't a globalist!

“Perot has been proven right.”

That great sucking sound to the south.

I always despised NAFTA and this is why I worked and voted for Ross Perot

ROSS PEROT WAS RIGHT...... this was 1992 so was 24 years ago as we reap the whirlwind of Obamaism and economic destruction.

How do Trump supporters feel about the news that Mitch McConnell’s campaign manager is now heading a new Trump PAC. I guess that is what Trump meant when he said that he might take funding for the national campaign.

So, it is already looking like, “Let’s Make a Deal!”

For years the mention of Ross Perot brought a lot of flames my way. Now the replies are positive. And very few flames.

are Ohio voters so uninformed, that they’re unaware of the destructive effects that trade agreement has had on their state?

I suspect this is the answer.

That vote was cast by Al Gore, his first duty as veep.

I believe earlier in 1993, the popular algore cast the tie-breaking Senate vote for the Clintoid budget with the tax hike that Mr. Bill said he sat up for nights trying to avoid,. NAFTA was about six months later. Bob Dull was a big NAFTA person, but KS people probably didn't know that.

NAFTA came more than a year after Henry Ross Perot challenged the first Bush.

Read these then you figure it out:

On June 29th Obama signed TPP agreement with Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) and HR2146 became law.

FALSE: TPP has never come up for a vote yet

The first thing to be cognitive of is that Cruz is in bed with the Bushes and has been since at least 1999. His TPA cloture and Corker bill votes fit with what the Bushes and the donor class want. I heard his excuse this summer and I did not believe it at the time any more than I do now. The simplest and most likely explanation is that Cruz wants this. Occam’s Razor. He realized that his vote would not look good back in Lubbock, TX so he made up some BS and called McConnell a liar. On top of that Ted Cruz has since shown himself to be a liar. Ted is a typical DC insider, professional politician lawyer. Why would anybody believe Calgary Ted’s explanations on anything?

That lying Canadian prick had become a traitor with his speech killing response to senseless violence. If there was ever a clue that he is UN-AMERICAN... it came from this dual citizen last night.
He’s more despicable than Democrats who are upfront about being TRAITORS. He’s just LYING TED.
