Poll: Next to no one interested in Mitt Romney's endorsement

A new poll by Rasmussen Reports shows that the overwhelming majority of Republican voters in the primary process do not place any positive value on a candidate endorsement by former GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney.

Only 15% of "Likely Republican Voters" say they are more likely to vote for a candidate Romney endorses, whereas 17% are less likely to vote for that candidate, and 67% say Romney's endorsement would have no impact on their voting decision.

Among all voters, 10% are more likely to vote for a candidate Romney endorses, 18% are less likely to do so, and 71% say an endorsement from Romney would have no impact on how they vote.

“Only 15% of “Likely Republican Voters” say they are more likely to vote for a candidate Romney endorses, whereas 17% are less likely to vote for that candidate...”

Lol, so Romney endorses someone and they probably lose 2 points! That’s truly pathetic.

Mittens is the Kanye West of the GOP.
No one cares what he thinks, but he will grab the microphone and tell you anyway.

So, what is the end goal? They run Romney up the proverbial flag pole and nobody salutes. Where do they, the ESTABLISHMENT go for their savior in a last-minute convention steal?

We know they will only consider tried and trusted minions of the Establishment conditioned to appease and relent to evil Democrats at the drop of a hat. Perhaps, somebody like that nice young former VP candidate like Paul R. He was something really special, wasn’t he? After all, he’s given Obama everything he’s ever spanked the monkey over hasn’t he? He’s young and virile and lasting - plenty of second-tier loser years left on him!

Mittens had his chance and he blew it.

He has no right to run around bad-mouthing Trump for doing what he couldn’t do.

He needs to STFU and just go away.

Did Mitt actually sign up to run for president this year ?
I’ve seen several reports on FR that make this claim...

Yeah....I’ve seen the reports, too but I’ve seen one or two that said the FEC says this is no. It’s hard to say because I guess it’d be hard to differentiate between legitimate applicants and those who are just place holders.

I really don’t know. In the end, the GOP can change the rules to be whatever they want regardless of what the rules WERE. I’d be looking at the actual official filing deadline for each respective state. That’s gonna be hard to track down reliably.

Mitt Romney accomplished TWO things.

He made himself IRRELEVANT and RIDICULOUS.

Gee, the consultant class must be happy as clams b/c Mitt has such good hair....and loves to show it off on TV.

Who else but Mitt would have taken the dumb job the consultants dreamed up to save their sorry rears?

Frankly, I/m just hoping and praying Mitt/s hair stylist is anti-Trump. Heaven knows what an errant hair clipper might do?

Just put Mitt on the junk pile of establishment flops....he/s done.

The sooner the loser returns to obscurity, the better America will be, moving forward.

Who cares what he thinks?

Makes sense to me. Romney’s the boxer who took a dive for the undocumented presidential candidate and I suspect that the number more likely to vote for a candidate Romney endorses is lower than 15% and, on the other side of the ledger, it’s higher than 17%.

Flipping through the dial last week, I came across Romney (I think on Kimmel).

Why is he doing the late night circuit?...I think the bozos behind him think he has a chance of getting nominated at the convention.

I think the Romney endorsement will play well in Utah but no where else coming up. I think it helped Cruz in Idaho.
