Police in Philadelphia have arrested a group of juveniles in connection with attacks on Roman Catholic High School students.
Sources tell Action News that the attack on a Roman Catholic student last month was caught on surveillance video. That video was in part what led to the arrest of the four juveniles.
Police tell us all four juveniles have admitted to their involvement in that attack.
Police say that during questioning one of the four juveniles admitted to also being involved in an attack on another Roman Catholic student, Jimmy Fallon, who was jumped the same week as the other incident.
Right now, detectives are trying to determine to what extent, if any, the remaining three suspects may have been involved in Fallon's attack.

By the way, it should be noted that the actual school name is “Roman Catholic High School”. It’s a landmark in Philadelphia, opened more than 130 years ago.

That's unexpected. Who would have guessed that a violent attack would take place right in front of a building that hands out free stuff so that people don't have to work, and on a street named for a man of peace?

Maybe, certainly bashing Christianity has become a cool thing to do. It is really not even cool to be Catholic in my daughter’s Catholic School, at least not to the extent that you follow the church teachings. She has been called a homophobe by her classmates for not supporting gay marriage and gay adoption. Jesus said that HIis followers would be hated and he was not kidding.

Most media outfits have a style book for consistency (such as capitalization and use of acronyms) and for legal niceties like saying ‘alleged’ whenever discussing a legal case.
This leaves two possibilites:
1) It is official policy not to mention the physical attributes of criminals.
2) Avoiding mention of the physical attributes of criminals is done on the fly according to unwritten PC preference.
Since we know that #1 is not true eg when a police composite sketch of a rapist is released along with a description, it then follows that #2 must be true.
This sort of unprovoked, random, brutal attack is everyone’s worst nightmare which makes the refusal to identify perps in this case (and to allow potential future victims to watch for possible attackers) even more irresponsible.
Most local news stations have cheesy consultant-tested slogans like ‘on your side’ and ‘working for you’ yet when push comes to shove they are more interested in protecting thugs.
Little Jimmy Fallon got jumped eh?
