Next phase, euthanasia by the State.
People against this don’t have a terminal illness.
Lethal injections? Wouldn’t this be, “cruel and unusual” suicide?
Agreed, I never understood why so called small government Conservatives are so against this. Try watching someone waste away from cancer and get back to me.
Good, it’ll get rid of a few more liberals.
Hey no problem, as long as we start with Moonbeam, DiFi, Nanobrain, and the rest of the mexico firsters.
riddle me this, California. You can provide drugs for people to murder themselves, but you can’t provide drugs to execute murderers. Why is that?
We all have a terminal illness
Yep; EVERYTHING.
Including; honor, ethics, morality, common sense, responsibility, respect for human life, decency, etc...
In fact; it isn't just "ready to go"; it's already gone in CA politics.
That place was conservative when we left in 1974.
Not if they are suffering from a non-recoverable illness and their life quality is intolerable.
Paging Dr. Kevorkian.
Cool. But remember. An assisted suicide advocate in England has already come out for the government sending vans from house to house to punch the clocks of the “terminally aged”. I guess the politicians will have to decide how many years a person will be allowed to live but you can’t bet that the number will go down every year. I think I remember an old movie about this. I thought it was weird then too.
“We all have a terminal illness”
Some are more Terminal than others....
Now legalize retroactive birth control.
Without your knowledge.
And at the urging of one,or more,of your heirs.
The problem here is the time line when something is allowed by the government and when something is required by the government. Heath insurance was something allowed and regulated by the government and now it is something required by law by the government. How long before assisted suicide is required for elderly non-producers within our society? Slippery slope here.
Yeah.
“Have them take two of these and call the coroner in the morning”.
