Anti-Trump Republicans Come to Terms With Cruz Nomination

Anxious Republican officials are coming to terms with the idea that their second least favorite GOP presidential candidate — polarizing Texas conservative Ted Cruz — may be the party's best last chance to stop Donald Trump.

"It's an outsider year, and the most logical person to take on Trump based on past performance is Ted Cruz," said another former presidential opponent, South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham. Earlier in the year, Graham likened the choice between Cruz and Trump to "being shot or poisoned."

"He's not my preference," Graham said of Cruz. "But we are where we are. And if Trump wins Florida and Ohio, I don't know if we can stop him."

Indeed, next Tuesday's winner-take-all contests in Florida and Ohio have injected a sense of urgency into the GOP's anti-Trump movement.

The billionaire businessman is calling on mainstream Republicans to unify behind his candidacy ahead of next week's primaries, which could give him an insurmountable delegate lead.

"If I win those two, I think it's over," Trump told CNN's "Anderson Cooper's 360."

I really do not understand why the GOPe is so much against Trump, unless they are also on Hillary's payroll and she assigned them to stop Trump in the primaries so she won't have to face him and possibly lose to him in the general election.

It’s the damned UNIPARTY and with Cruz as the nominee *spike*, *puke*, *spit*, Hillary or ANY Dem will win in a landslide. And the GOPEers can just continue on as they have been, stuffing their bank accounts with our money, handing out “special favors” to their friends, and having ILLEGAL ALIENS flood and take over this nation.

Trump is exposing who owns politicians... their packed donors. And that the so called GOPe is literally in bed with the liberals... The Bell curver conservatives want Cruz... and let us not forget that back in 2011 Rush Limbaugh got amnesty talking points from none other than Schumer and Graham... Trump is against the 'new world order' of open borders..

Cruz's VAT tax tells what his intent is for US... so very Euro-peen Union.. Just like the plan for a North American Union... no borders, and humans are commodities of their trade policies. Wonder how many homes the bankers still have held... think about who might be your neighbors.

Trump is the only candidate who represents a threat to the globalist agenda.

The real con men are the Congress. That is why every time we send new blood, a short time later they transform into a peron we would not have voted for.

It is a corrupt club, to survive there, you join the club and play by those rules. After all, you may have been a person of modest means and your time there will make you a multi millionaire before you know it if you see things their way.

Outsiders aren’t welcome and Trump is an outsider who will learn of the total corruption. He might even tell the whole country what scoundrels and crooks those fine people are.

They are all bought and Trump is not part of the scheme they have in mind to screw the people and the country over.

show the poll where Trump does better.”

Trump vs Hillary, Trump win FL, OH, tied in PA

Cruz vs Hillary, Cruz loses FL, OH, PA.

Those national polls showing Cruz winning are irrelevant, pres is elected state by state, and are being used to fool you, don’t be fooled.

Ted won't lose to The Beast. He'll scrape by.

On the other hand, this will be the result when Mr. T gets done with her:

No they don’t.

They come to terms with Cruz keeping Trump from the nomination.

There’s no way Cruz wins on the first ballot, and the GOPe completely takes control before a second ballot is cast.

The Uniparty wants Hillary. They don’t give a damn about saving the Country.

She will be hell bent on gutting 2nd Amendment rights, illegal amnesty, more me refugees, more “free stuff”, gutting energy independence, vowing no more fracking. It’s a nightmare.

If Ted Cruz really was some decent guy, instead of a GOP-e Toadie, he would not be a party to this. Of course since his wife is a CFR no borders person, that ain’t gonna happen.

I can’t believe he is delusional enough to believe he could win in the general. He has no cross over appeal. Bernie supporters think he’s a religious nutjob, Joe McCarthy hybrid.
Some Bernie supporters would vote for Trump, they despise Hillary so much, but they will not support Cruz.

Until Sunday, Cruz said a Contested Convention would be bad. Now he’s all for it. Bought and Paid for by those who despise the very citizens they are supposed to represent.

That’s progress. Now they just have to come to terms with the Trump nomination itself.

Polls are no “proofs” and should not prevent you of thinking .
Cruz will obviously be stripped appart by the msm and establishment IF he was the nominee .

At the moment they are keeping him as a tool to divide .
That’s all folk !
Understood ?

Now there’s a sure ticket to the WH

Vote for Cruz- he’s not Trump or Hillary

If the GOPe believed that spin that cruz is their only hope to take down Trump, then they would make it a 2 man race by next week or sooner

( crickets)

Let’s just hope Cruz who is meeting that loser Jeb this week and who hired the Bush family’s weakest link Neil as his finance staffer, has the integrity to see through how he is going to be used and then dumped by these people

If Ted hooked up now with Trump they’d be in the WH together next January and given Trumps age, Ted might inherit the Oval Office in 4 years
