You hate big money donors? Your boy was the premier one until June 2015.

Buying people for personal gain is just being a great businessman in 2016. Last year it was being a crony capitalist.

Warren Buffet thanks you for changing the definition.

Trump’s life ambition was to prosper and live the American Dream. He played the game and sees the dream dying for everyone around him. Guess we should say no,that years of expertise and desire to change the system is unacceptable. We have pure conservatives who haven’t done Jack but no one else allowed.

You know Cruz life ambition was to be President? Lawyer then President. To “take over the world, you know, stuff like that”

I agree....Sean is so very pro-life and he is selling out by pretending it doesn’t matter. I wonder if he tells him that he doesn’t want to talk about those topics.

So, you’re being given a choice between a bunch of hookers and a John and you want one of the hookers to run the country because the John used hookers?

Tell me what Conservative promoted partial birth abortion, or advocated for a wealth tax, or advocated for the Canadian healthcare system, or would rail against Scalia’s dissent on Affirmative Action without reading it, or would support the assualt weapons ban........or would donate to ANY Liberal for any reason known to man?

Pick your plank, Trump at one time or another was against it.

So this year he a registered Republican and “common sense Conservative”. 2001 he was a registered Democrat and “identified” with them more than Republicans as he said in 2004. Then he tinkered with Reform and Independent depending on which suited him at the time.

Where was he on the Obamacare fight? Where was he on the Gang of Eight fight? Where was he during the 1994 Contract with America? Oh yeah, chumming it up with the Clintons.

The Conservative movement is the Reagan/Goldwater movement. Trump was never part of it and actively donated against it when he pleased him.

Maybe you are not a Conservative and that's cool. If so, then I wish you luck as it appears he's going to get the nod anyway.

Well I can only take Rubio or Kasich for 5 minutes each, and Cruz is nothing but a non stop walking anti-Trump commercial, but I'll give him a shot tonite

Bushes killed the Reagan movement and they’re still at it now pimping Cruz.

I fully believe Trump will do more by far than any of the other guys to improve the sad state this country is in. The sheer hatred of him by the Establishment and embracing of Cruz reinforces my belief.

As you say, you’re free to believe otherwise.

No I think Sean likes Trump and may not be comfortable pushing him on these subjects because his answers may not be as conservative as we would like them to be.

He was creating thousands of private sector jobs. What were Cruz, Rubio and Kasich doing? Cruz and Rubio were lawyers and politicians expanding the government bureaucracy stifling private sector jobs and increasing our taxes. Kasich did do a good job as budget chairman in the 90’s and a good, job as governor of Ohio. It is his views on immigration and trade that turn me off. He would make a better technical President than Cruz or Runio. Cruz and Rubio are stronger on social.issues.

"So, you’re being given a choice between a bunch of hookers and a John and you want one of the hookers to run the country because the John used hookers?"

Nope - it amazes me that on this site the people who have railed against crony capitalism are supporting one the biggest in modern times and making excuses for it so they can vote for him with a clear conscience by telling all of us what a great businessman he is.

Then we have to listen to Trump tell us how terrible the system is when he took full advantage of it not to better the country, but himself. AND, then says he's going to pack his advisory staff with others cronies like Icahn and Wynn as if that will make the whole problem of buying influence go away when it will definitely make it worse.

Not every donor is looking for a handout. But we know Trump was because he's screamed it.

Like I said, in 2014 this was called crony capitalism. Now it's just great business because Trump says so.

And here’s the rationalization - it was ok for Trump to grease politicians because he was creating jobs.

Could there be a more lame reasoning? Trump was buying off the Clintons and Reid and Schumer and the DNC not to help Joe and jack get jobs as maintenence workers in Trump Towers......he was doing it to line his own pockets first and foremost. He’s told all of that, multiple times.

Was he so worried about jobs when he took over Eastern Airlines shuttle route and killed it? Did every person there find a job somewhere else in the Trump empire?

I get it, Cruz is a lawyer and no onle likes them. Trump is a businessman and this year everyone likes them unless you happen to work at a bank, or an insurance company, or in oil, or on Wall Street, or at a Pharmaceutical company or wherever Trump says the pirhanas are.

I don’t doubt that he’s going to get the nod and I don’t doubt that I’ll vote for him against Hillary but I KNOW he’s not a Conservative.

Creating a job by buying off a local politican does not make one any better than the politican who takes the money.

“The sheer hatred of him by the Establishment and embracing of Cruz reinforces my belief.”

The fact that you think the Establishment wants Cruz is delusional as to be ignored.

Good luck going forward.

Your idealism is charming, yet naive. You speak of ‘bettering the country’ and ‘helping the conservative movement’, yet those aren’t what’s on the ballot.

We’ve had nothing but hookers to choose from for all of modern history. We now have a John as well. For the first time. It’s a gamble, but obviously, the hookers haven’t been doing a very good job, so it’s time for a change.

Yeah and definition of conservative changes. A lot of traditionally conservative views are now mocked by “conservatives” as populist, isolationist, etc.

I don’t care what it’s called I want secure borders, good fiscal and trade policy, and Islamic threat defeated.

Yes I know - principles are not cool this cycle. “Living and breathing” just like the Liberals view the Constitution. If you can't find a 100% Conservative, then vote for the guy who's donated against it. Makes sense.

OK - so it looks like we'll all get a shot on betting on Trump, the McCain like “maverick” who can reach across the isle and cut deals with Schumer because he's donated to him and likes him. The sharp, Romney-like businessman who donates to the Vets and knows how to run companies.

“so it’s time for a change.” 2008 here we come.

Agreed. My ‘conservative’ senator just met with the GOPe and Silicon Valley to try and stop Trump. My ‘conservative’ congressman always finds a way to vote with the GOPe and my ‘conservative’ governor got re-elected promising never to raise the and was advocating to raise the gas tax within a month of her re-election.

Maybe they’re paying Trump a compliment when they say he’s not ‘conservative’.

Of course you don't care. You don't care that your boy doesn't know the difference between Hb-1 and STEM program because Trump doesn't even know.

Build the wall dammit! And if you do touch back and increase Hb-1s....who cares, the wall is built.

Trade policy - the only thing Trump has offered are tariffs. They have never worked in a post-industrialzed world and you need only to look to 2002 and what Bush did to the steel industry for that. So there’s your good trade policy.

Fiscal policy - how can you promote that when 1 - he's already vowed not to touch SS or Medicare and 2 - he want to expand the latter because apparently people are dying all over the streets?

Islamic threat - name one GOP candidate who doesn't want this?

Cruz = establishment. I'm still amazed that you even typed that.
