Kyle Andrew Odom, the former marine accused of shooting Idaho minister Tim Remington outside his church, was arrested by the U.S. Secret Service in Washington, D.C., after he threw objects over the White House fence, according to police. NBC's Pete Williams reports for TODAY.

So he shot the pastor on Sunday and by Wednesday he’s throwing crap over the White House fence?
IIRC they knew his name and who they were looking for a short while after the shooting.
And still he got on a plane and traveled to D.C.? Makes you wonder about the TSA (HA!)...I’m glad I wasn’t sitting next to this loon in church or in the air.

It’s a little disturbing that one nut job like this can almost murder a pastor in broad daylight and make it to the White House fence without being stopped.
Yes, I agree.
At the same time, it is good we have a society where we aren’t stopped at checkpoints leaving/entering each state and all.
This is a weird one, that’s for sure.
I knew this one man who had some sort of metal sensitive issues, very strange. Otherwise, he was okay. Obviously though, that phobia or whatever was wildly unbalanced in my eyes.
