“But the course promised to make me as rich as Donald Trump.”

“When you buy something there is usually have a grace period in which to could request a refund. Once you’re past that date, you can’t request a refund. Buyers remorse years later is ridiculous”

I think the federal statute of limitations for fraud is five years.

The suit appears to be basically a vehicle for the Democratic NY State AG to cause trouble for Trump. Kind of like the way some Democrats filed lawsuits against Gov. Palin in Alaska.

My husband signs up for all sorts of courses like this. He’s a gullible, eternal optimist. There is rarely anything worthwhile in these courses - with generally nothing that you couldn’t find online. IMO, they’re selling motivation more than knowledge. It’s the same with any diet, business, self-help books. Pretty much all of the information has been around for decades - it’s just being packaged in a new way. I deem a book or seminar successful if I take from it one thing that I incorporate into my business or life.

The Better Business Bureau said Tuesday that it rated Trump University a D- in 2010, which improved to A+ by January 2015 as the business appeared to wind down

Of course the article doesn't disclose what the ratings were in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, etc. where according to screenshots from internet archiving sites they were B's, C's, etc. And the total number of complaints was low, with most of them resolved to the satisfaction of the complaining consumer.

And Perry in Texas and he won....maybe a week ago.

I now believe this and all attacks on Perry were Cruz backed attacks to keep him at bay.

Good. He’ll be that way with Iran and North Korea. I can’t believe you are hanging your hat on this while two countries are using bombing tests as we speak to destroy the United States and Israel. Absurd!

So there were no complaints after the company went out of business? Shocking

Oh no. I am “hanging my hat” on a lot more than this. Yeah, well I can’t believe Trump the Great is ranting about steaks, Vodka and magazines while two countries are doing bomb tests. What is absurd is this clown is talking about poll numbers, Lil Marco, Ly’n Ted just so he doesn’t have to talk about something more important than himself.

Actually the majority (highest number I’ve seen 24 nearly all closed by BBB as resolved) were after it closed, right about the time the AG started beating the bushes for unhappy attendees.

It’s a big fat nothing. The GOPe/Cruzbots reek of desperation. Had poor teddy performed better yesterday we’d be treated to an unending thread count tooting his horn. His ass was waxed so they dust off the nostalgia file.

just FYI, the “criminal investigation’ was conducted by NYS’s AG who is another Eliot Spitzer. So, you’ll pardon me for not being impressed.

She’s doing pretty good for herself if she’s living in Irvine.

Irvine is nice, but it's not Brentwood or Bel Air.

She’s not guilty, but if you go out with her she’s the type who will spend $30,000 of your money on a pipe dream.

Nope. There was another one in Texas, for “fraudulent business practices”. No class action suit involved.
