No computer can predict the future. A program, written by a human, can calculate the probability of something happening. That passes for “prediction.”
Amazon doesn’t figure out what you’re likely to buy. It calculates the statistical probability of something, based on your past purchases,
and those of people with similar past purchases. No miracle. Just a well-written program.
People who have committed several crimes before are, according to statistical probability, more likely to commit crimes again.
Grandma in her rocking-chair is not likely to be driving by her homies in da hood and smoking them.

Seems it is better if the computer predicts that and not a human ‘bean’.
Actually the algorithm is much more complicated than that. History is only one of many factors used to predict future behavior. But in the end, it's still just a crap shoot.
This type of algorithm is biased by the assumptions of the programmers.
You don’t see EU elites expecting or even doing anything about the spike in rapes, assaults and drug dealing due to the Muslim invasion. But it was freaking obvious that when you let a million men from a true rape culture show up, you’ll see more rape and assaults on Christians, Yazidis, etc.
