According to current replacement theology...

One of those 'doctrines of demons' the New Testament warned us about.

This media canard over Trump’s statement on maintaining neutrality reinforces an effort to turn a bedrock negotiation principle into a negative political policy statement. Trump’s statement on maintaining neutrality is absolutely a true principle that any good negotiator must maintain when moderating a dispute. Just like a judge presiding over a contested case, the judge can not be biased toward one of the parties. That is all Trump was saying. We all know where he otherwise stands. People love to twist words and even Cruz has taken what Trump said and disingenuously projected it negatively toward Trump. Cruz being a lawyer knows full well that if he moderates negotiations between the Israelis and Palestinians that success will turn on the respect that both parties have for the objectiveness of the negotiator.

Plus, this approach is stupid.

Everybody knows that American Jews will vote overwhelmingly for the Democrat, whoever it is and whatever his/her policy towards Israel is.

The number of VOTES involved is trivial. The MONEY and INFLUENCE involved is NOT trivial, but Trumo doesn’t need the money, and he’s enough of a celebrity that the influence factor is reduced.

I do not completely understand the attitude of Reform American Jews towards Zionist Christians like Sarah Palin and Ted Cruz, but you don’t have to understand it to recognize how hostile it is.

So, all in all, not a plus for Ted Cruz and not a liability for Donald Trump.

“Trump has also insisted repeatedly that he will be neutral toward Israel.”

He said this in the context of brokering an agreement, if possible (big if), between Israel and the Palestinians.

The problem with Evangelicals is the problem with many religions - but more acute with Evangelicals. I know Evangelicals that are convicted child molesters, yet they insist that Jesus forgave them, so who are you to judge them (thereby in their mind, and in the prevailing interpretation - though perverted with this guy - Evangelical interpretation) he claims to own the high ground. Oh, he was a former “Pastor”, too.

How does he know Jesus forgave him? Well He told him.

So one either has to be sincere, or a bold liar to claim Evangelical credentials. My experience is that most who are the most vocal are the latter.

That’s the problem with Evangelicals in a nutshell.

followers that are gullible, trusting, and far less cynical than they ought to be, a few of the “real deal” and a large number of “gimme your tithe or you’ll go to hell” usurpers.

They will believe in large numbers that Trump is “anti-Israel” just because someone said so - even when it is not true.

There are a lot of other things...”Prosperity CHristians”, “Demon Theology” and many other facets that completely pervert the term “Evangelical” as it is used by many Born-Again Christians in the US.

They have no way to cleanse themselves of the vermin that prey upon trusting well-meaning Christians. They get tarred with the same brush as the charlatans.

Articles like this that are less-than-honest and less-than-thorough do not help either.

My 2-cents anyway.

Thanks, and well said. Of course, there is no chance for a peaceful resolution, because the Arabs are genocidal.
