just proves that abortion is execution / murder of the most innocent of humans. God won’t forget those who commit this horror.
This IS NOT a pro-life law in any sense of the word, this is simply another attempt by those pandering for the pro-life vote to keep abortion legal.
Bramble referred to abortion as a death sentence and says his legislation will help protect unborn babies.
A death sentence is a death sentence, it makes no difference if there is pain involved.
why don’t they just abort the mothers? that way they won’t get pregnant again.
And you don't think the United States is crazy? The Church apparently doesn't care about aborting babies, but do about gays....ok, got ya!!! (scratching head)
I agree.
Plus it will increase the cost, having to have a recognized anesthesia provider in the room. How many Anesthesiologists and CRNAs are going to want to be involved in this?
“Well you know, they can no longer deny the baby can feel pain and that is it in fact a baby.”
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Exactly. Plus it raises cost and risk to the abortionist. Anything to make their job more difficult and expensive.
We all on the pro-life side would like to end all abortions immediately. But we have to praise each victory, no matter how small. We have to fight on every front, tactically as well as strategically.
Happy news.
They will be chopped and vacuumed with smiles on their faces.
Dear God, please make US stop.
If we aren't ready for The Warning (Garabandal) now, how much more will we do, how much worse will we become before we are ready?
“Plus it will increase the cost, having to have a recognized anesthesia provider in the room. How many Anesthesiologists and CRNAs are going to want to be involved in this?”
An anesthesiologists is one of the first things an abortionist cuts to save money when they have one for the women never mind the baby. What do they do? They train some smhuck with an 8th grade level of education to do the job. Really! That is what they will do there. This is not end well but that is okay, Operation Rescue will have their work cut out for them when those jobs get botched.
Granted if I was an anesthesiologists there is no why I’d agree to do a pre born baby but there are always soulless ghouls out there that will do anything for a buck.
Plus I wonder one thing, does the drug the anesthesiologist use mess up the fetus so that Stem Express can’t use it?
“why dont they just abort the mothers? that way they wont get pregnant again.”
Considering a lot of these abortions are forced why not abort the father who got them pregnant?
Not when it's actually an utter defeat.
This bill is sick, and virtually every regulationist bill today is a surrender of the only real moral, constitutional, and legal arguments against abortion on demand. So, there is no tactical or strategic victory here at all. When you surrender you're a casualty.
“Yes, this bill exposes a wonderful argument for life. Kudos to the legislator.”
Yes. I didn’t mean to sound like I was attacking the legislator in my post. It’s the practice of abortion I find sub-human.
“Considering a lot of these abortions are forced why not abort the father who got them pregnant?”
Oh? Where’s there a law giving a father the right to force a woman to have an abortion?
Make the “Doc” take it!
Ping
I guarantee you that the fang-tooth feminazis will fiercly oppose this. Anything that admits that the baby is a sentient human is opposed by the abortionists.
Not when it's actually an utter defeat.
So any lives saved if this bill is enacted are of no consequence. The only victory is complete and utter victory? The U.S. Supreme court won't allow that type of victory anytime in the near future.
For starters, let's look at what actually requires:
76-7-308.5. Administration of anesthetic or analgesic to an unborn child.
A physician who performs an abortion of an unborn child who is at least 20 weeks gestational age shall administer an anesthetic or analgesic to eliminate or alleviate organic pain to the unborn child [that may be] caused by the particular method of abortion to be employed,
So, it says NOTHING about needing an anesthesiologist, it simply says that an anesthetic or analgesic to "eliminate or alleviate" organic pain. In other words, a shot of Valium into the baby is sufficient.
Secondly, we're only talking about abortions after twenty weeks. At nineteen weeks and six days the baby gets NOTHING
But none of this is the issue. The REAL ISSUE is that the baby is acknowledged to be a PERSON and this bill DENIES the baby's Fourteenth Amendment rights.
This bill is just another GOP ploy to keep abortion "safe and legal and rare." It won't save a single baby, but it will be lauded in fund-raising campaigns across the country.
Plus I wonder one thing, does the drug the anesthesiologist use mess up the fetus so that Stem Express cant use it?
I can't imagine how it would. People get anesthetic shots every day, it doesn't affect their organs.
This bill has NOTHING to do with saving lives, it's about giving babies a shot before they are executed.
The only victory is complete and utter victory?
No, but there's no victory here.
The U.S. Supreme court won't allow that type of victory anytime in the near future.
SCOTUS made it clear back in 1973 that they don't need to be involved at all.
Many SCOTUS rulings simply state that a law is unconstitutional THE WAY IT IS WRITTEN OR HOW OTHER LAWS AFFECT IT. The opinion will then typically point out what revisions need to be made to this or other laws to bring it into conformity with the Constitution.
Roe v. Wade was one of those rulings. Blackmun gave EXACT INSTRUCTIONS on how to end abortion constitutionally, but these instructions were ignored in favor of killing 60 MILLION Americans.
A genuinely pro-life Congress and/or president could end abortion today FOREVER. SCOTUS doesn't need to be involved, none of this "pro-choice-by-state" nonsense, just make abortion another tragic lesson like slavery.
