I could see James P Hoffa endorse Trump quicker than most union capos

Still it would be surprising

I sure wish I had not thrown out Ann Coulters book, "How to Talk To Liberals/Democrats If You Must", very funny book and probably could help in this election...

Sequel: How To Talk to a Trump Supporter, if you must.

Trump gets to some similar places as Reagan by a different route than Reagan.

Trump is assembling the largest populist parade he can.

Trump is like the Tylenol to Reagan’s aspirin. They both address headaches but in a different way.

There is a good chance that in 2016, California might be a decision maker in the Presidential Primary.

And California is a winner take all, with the largest number of delegates in the primary. Funny how they let that little detil get clouded in inside their cranium.

This is going to be good.

Yea, let’s ignore the little thing called the SCOTUS [appointments].

Hell, at least the trains will run on time.

They aren’t unilateral and have to pass muster (thank God). Too bad obozo got that super-liberal foreigner in before the grown ups (well, post-teenagers) took over.

I think I am right — the ROE is where the POTUS is pretty much unilateral.

Hope you feel better.

All caucuses should be abandoned...they are outdated and only lead to fraud. There is no reason that machine voting in closed primaries should not be the same across the Nation.

The Teamsters backed Nixon’s *Phase II* as part of the deal to get Hoffa out of prison. After the AFL-CIO left the Labor Board (part of the Wage and Price Council) over the terms of *Phase II*, Nixon HAD to placate the Teamsters as they were the ONLY labor org. remaining on the Board. Without them, the Labor Board would have NO input from Labor and be shown publicly as the farce it was.

As for backing him against McGovern, that was just part of the split between the AFL-CIO and Teamsters. Had organized labor prevailed against the hard left of the RATs, Scoop Jackson would have been the RAT candidate and (imo) Nixon would have been defeated.

Of course, most of trump’s support comes from democrats.

...but they must all be " conservatives" right? /s Oh I wish some Freepers would WAKE UP!!!

Trump is running AS a Democrat on our side of the aisle this time around. I can see his smile underneath all of his talk... just wait until the election is over... HUGE SIGH!

Sorry, but Reagan was not, FLEXIBLE like Trump in the things he promised.

Hows that flexible immigration thingy doing for you? You know, the one that got the vast majority of you guys on board with him?

I guess 50ft, 10 ft, how flexible should he get? Liberal SCOTUS appointee, Moderate nominee?

That magic word that shows you how naked Trumps promises are, "I'm agree with Rubio, I'm very flexible"

I am excited that for once, California will be in play for the primary. I am a Trump supporter, but I have many friends that are Cruz supporters. I like both, but I like Trump more. I will love all the hoopla that goes with being a “swing” state. I have already signed up to volunteer when they start working here. I know Cruz has had an operation going for many months. Trump will have some catching up to do in California.

Your argument that Teamsters don’t support Republicans involves the time since Reagan, when the Bush dynasty and their fellow elitists stole the nomination process. Are you saying the Bushes, McCain, Romney, Ryan and the other backstabbers represent Republicans who want what’s best for hard-working US citizens? Whose side are you on?

Republicans will never win another presidential election without the votes of working class whites. Cruz must do better reaching this group. Simply wearing a flannel shirt a few photo-ops won't do it. He's got to speak to their concerns. And it would help if his core followers wouldn't turn them off.

Agree with Rubio on just what? There are areas of logical agreement, like none of them believe in shooting puppies. One dimensional friend/enemy is quite non-edifying.

This sounds like childish nit picking.

Well, since Trump said at the debate that he was going to order them to commit war crimes, I’m imagining their shackles will come after they refuse his orders.
