You are exactly correct. Bernie's Brooklyn accent doesn't exactly scream "Green Mountain Yankee." I feel sorry for the true Vermonters who have been inundated by the flood of New York (and other) commies and ex-hippies.
Snip:
“Maybe if Bernie Sanders stuck his head out of his enclave now and then, and stopped spewing back intersectional racist screeds, he might actually learn something about this country.”
Nah, never happen. Bernie’s head rarely pops up out of his ass, and that’s usually only when there’s cameras and microphones to give him attention.
Rural poor have it tougher, I think.
I saw a documentary once about dirt poor Appalachians. Democrats aren’t interested in those people, they just condescend to them by saying crap like “Republicans are for the rich, you’re voting against your interest! Vote for the Black guy who demeans you.”
The government want everyone to be dependent on welfare. They could pay them more for their service but then the peons wouldn’t get the point. There is pride that comes for being paid for a job well done but the government wouldn’t want that.
The money comes from the same source, the American taxpayer so why do they insist on service members going on welfare?
Mark Steyn subbing for Rush today brought up that Vermont is dead. He said as he travels the state he passes though many, dead and dying towns whose only big week is the first of each month when the welfare recipients in Vermont visit their local general store, where the store shelves have been just stocked and ready awaiting those on public assistance.
Those companies paid BIG BUCKS to the crooks in Congress to get these trade ‘deals’ passed - the ones that screw over American workers and they're gonna get their money's worth.
When Trump's President we need to systematically replace most of the folks in congress.
