“MAY have”. Perhaps. But it’s not definitive yet. Having said that, Ted Cruz is having a much better Sunday morning this week than last week and this will invigorate Ted’s ground game in key states upcoming.

That’s exactly what I think.

The most important thing to the RNC/GOP is preventing us from stopping The Cheap Labor Express.

“I honestly don’t think the party elites give two shits about the general, they just want to stop Trump.”

Agree.

And the ramifications of that are frightening.

I doubt thy will accept Cruz. Apparently Romney is saying that he will gladly step in to the nominee spot at the convention.

Will knows this because they will elimate Cruz if he eliminates Trump.

Cruz wins two caucus’ and it’s a national flood towards Cruz? It’s clear that this has everything to do with strategic voting. Watch for Kasich to surge in OH and MI, Cruz to surge in MS and Rubio to surge in FL as proof. This is the GOPe using 4 candidates to share votes and not attack one another in order to split votes with Trump so he doesn’t get enough votes. Nothing more. The full weight of the political class, special interest and the media is against Trump. That should tell you that there is only one outsider and Cruz isn’t it

That he supports Cruz speaks volumes.

He most definitely does not support Cruz. He just wants a brokered convention.

Nothing says political insider like George Will. That he supports Cruz speaks volumes.

Plus the fact that no one is mentioning: Huck won Kansas with 60% and Santorum with 51%. ME and KS were both caucus states, geared to old time party regulars who have been in the party apparatus in a lot of cases for a lifetime. Just let them have their bubble - the bigger the better when it bursts.

Momentum is everything in politics and Cruz ‘seems’ like he has it. This is why I wanted Trump to win with some margin yesterday, to prevent this narrative.

It's a good point you're making, but as the primaries get into the winner take all phase and the rust belt Trump will probably pull away. I want Cruz to win the nomination, but I try to be realistic.

Absolutely delusional. No Florida, New York...That’s Cruz land for sure. Ya know, I like Ted Cruz, but just hopin and wishin ain’t gonna cut it.

At the risk of being a ‘negative Nancy’ I think Cruz may compete much stronger than people are anticipating in places like MI and FL. We’ll soon see but just the feeling I get is that a lot of fellow Trump supporters are starting to see Cruz as a viable option, without the so called risks of Trump. A bunch of ‘low information’ types put a lot of credence into the fact that current polls show Hillary beating Trump.

“The night after Trump is elected George Will still be writing about his waning popularity.”

I’m hoping by then Will will have been fired and be running a blog and a talk radio show in Delaware.

Cruz is not a “GOP insider.” That’s a ridiculous claim.

“I honestly don’t think the party elites give two shits about the general, they just want to stop Trump.”

Exactly right. They are determined to beat Trump to serve as a warning to anyone else who MIGHT have the idea that they know better than the establishment. The hate Trump because he doesn’t have to come to them on bended knee begging for their money, he doesn’t hire them as “advisors” or “strategists,” he goes after their pals in the media. These actions post a danger to them, and they want to make an example of him by destroying him no matter what, even if it takes taking the party down with them.
