I think what is just as troubling is that those saying things like this (which are ANTITHETICAL to my understanding of conservative principle and philosophy) is the boldness and apparent impunity with which they say them.
It is as if they know their “gang” will support them, or even applaud their saying it.
Some while back, and not too long ago, some of these statements would have caused that person to be excoriated and virtually torn to ribbons nearly unanimously by members of FR.
I don’t know how this deteriorated so quickly.
You question mentioned nothing of Cruz or Oklahoma.

My question was posed to Mozilla... because she said Oklahoma was too religious and that’s why Cruz won there. If you want to talk about Islam its a little bit off the topic of the thread but we certainly can. The problem with muslims isn’t their devotion its the tenants of Islam itself.

Is religion a bad thing?
We seem to be in a time of decline in serious religious belief and observation. I guess we should expect to see that reflected here too. It is a negative trend on many levels.
Cruz has fought the conservative fight a lot longer than you, Mr. 6 months on Free Republic. Maybe you should move to another country. We need to keep the real conservatives here.
Cruz single-handedly stopped amnesty that the GOPe and Rubio were fully prepared to allow in the gang of eight bill. He deserves better than the johnny-come-lately’s who just showed up recently to trash the most conservative candidate in the race.

I would be happy to let you, the hail-Satan left, and the GOPe have the share of the US that is proportional to the irreligious and anti-religious. You, like the many Republicans before you, despise the glue that has held this nation together. The single element that caused this nation to be great like no other nation ever has. You despise that one single trait.
The “too religious” are the ones who founded this nation so they could worship God as they saw fit without having their religious freedom trampled upon. It is the “too religious” that will rebuild from the ruinous ash heaps of this once great nation after its collapse is complete.
Wish those of us who are “too religious” could have our own little corner to get away from those who despise us and think we are unneeded.
