A deadly bacterial outbreak is being investigated in Wisconsin with at least 44 reported cases, killing 18 people, according to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.

The rare infection results from a naturally occurring bacteria called Elizabethkingia anophelis, which are found in soil, fresh water and reservoirs, health officials said. Symptoms include fever, shortness of breath, chills or redness on the skin.

The outbreak has primarily affected people over the age of 65 and everyone infected had a history of at least one serious underlying health condition, according to the Department of Health Services. State and federal health officials said they're looking to find the source of the outbreak.

Actually, the bacteria infected 44 not 26. It killed 18 of those who were infected.

Well, so much for HIPPA disclosure laws, eh?

And this is why the government wants your healthcare records under their control.

Every time muslims use chemical or biological attacks, they can simply downplay it by having the very soberand serious media outlets report that all victims “had a history of at least one serious underlying health condition.”

Q: Who at age 65 (according to the government) DOESN’T?

I see doctor Emanuel has found a good final solution for that cost to age ratio in a public healthcare system.

“Elizabethkingia anophelis, which was discovered only in 2011”

“infections from this bacteria are rare but that they are more likely to occur in health care settings when the bacteria contaminates medical equipment.”

“”Outbreaks of Elizabethkingia have been associated with contaminated ventilators or contaminated [injectable] medication or tube feeding or something like that and then it gets into the blood stream,” Schaffner explained.”

Sounds like one of those unintended consequences. Hospitals
cutting corners and buying cheaper equipment or worse,
reusing disposable items due to the rising costs associated
with Obamacare.

Lots of bacteria in cheese. Lots of cheese in Wisconsin.
In fact it was Wisconsin who put the cheese in machismo.
Actually it was Vicente Fox with a little help From Jeb.

Where were the CDC geniuses when this epidemic was ravishing the population of Wisconsin .... probably manually ejaculating Zika carrying mosquitoes to see if the disease was sexually transmitted between mosquitoes.

Age 73 here and I’ve never had a medium medical problem, much less a major one. Never been in a hospital (other than when born) and still have all organs, including tonsils and appendix. Never had to take prescription drugs.

Yep! I’m knocking on wood and thanking God!
