If he really has ALS, the judge could be saving the taxpayers some serious money. Let him die at his own expense.
The story was poorly written. They talk about a trial, but don’t give the outcome. Digging around, it appears that the idiots on the jury were bamboozled into finding him not guilty by reason of insanity. Since he wasn’t really insane, you can’t hold him in a mental institution because the jury was stupid.
Blame the jurors, not the judge for this mess.
I remember reading about the sister,, I believe, calling 911 and telling them she was dying and who did it. It was so very, very sad. It’s makes me want to cry to think about it.
