If we actually began enforcing the laws again, deporting people, there would be a larger number who would self deport if we are clear that we intend to enforce the laws and retain the rule of law.

It's my understanding that a significant percentage of aerospace engineers are unionized, probably because so much of their work is under government contract.
Seems likely that union bosses and the rank-and-file would favor American citizens over foreign temps.
Also, many aerospace engineers work with classified information, and a security clearance almost always requires citizenship.

In Math and engineering, the survey found that the majority of majors work in related fields. BUT (lol) census surveyed phycology and social science majors! Really, these majors have become nothing more than revenues streams for over budgeted universities. Hardly STEM majors. The data also includes biology majors which is fine major but is one of those degrees which requires an advanced degree.
