Numbers USA, an influential organization that champions stricter immigration laws, is downgrading its ratings of Donald Trump after the GOP front-runner wobbled on his immigration stance at the Republican presidential debate on Thursday night.
The grass-roots group was displeased with Trump’s comments suggesting that there is a shortage of U.S. workers for both high-skilled industries and for seasonal jobs, such as those for hospitality employees at Mar-a-Lago Club, Trump’s luxury resort in Florida.
In a statement, Roy Beck, the group’s president, called Trump’s remarks “disconcerting” and said Numbers USA was downgrading Trump to a “B+” grade from an “A-” as a result.

Steve King endorsed Cruz but he is more religious than Kobach or Sessions.
Still Cruz is the best on immigration. If this is your hot issue he’s the only candidate worth voting for and who is trusted to do what he says he will do on the issue.
All U.S. politicians especially TPA Ted Cruz get an F on immigration as none of these charlatans have lifted a finger to stop the invasion of 3r world illegals that will vote to turn the USA away from the Constitution and towards socialism/statism.

I pray I’m wrong (if Trump wins) and that he really does all the crap he says he will do (as of two days ago). But I bet I’m not wrong and there will be many on this site very upset that they bought the lies. We have a chance to elect a true conservative—the time is right. Carter gave us Reagan. Obama should give us Cruz.

And H2B visas are the really bad ones...they keep wages low for everyone.
I hear from experts I trust that the US is low on STEM grads. From my study of US colleges graduating way too many worthless majors to maintain revenue(see my old post on this), I believe this to be true. But then others I trust such as point to abuse of the program. I was speaking to a friend of mine who has 4 kids, all engineers, and they have JOBS JOBS JOBS. One got paid for three months until a the contract started because the company could not risk to waiting to hire.

Indeed, Cruz is the far better choice. Carson arguably could be a better choice, but I don’t think he can beat Trump.
Trump can’t afford to wobble on his main source of support.
This is the one issue he that has pushed him to the front of the pack.
Trump was just trying to be honest. The current play is virtually unlimited immigration, and illegal immigration, and repeat immigration by drunk drivers and rapists. Also, no effort whatever is made to keep out terrorists.
Trump is right that at least SOME immigrants should be admitted who are needed. Such as techs and engineers from India and the Orient, or a FEW people who are willing to pick crops.
What we need is to stop the abuses of the system, the pork exchange with Mexico and its drug cartels, and the deliberate admittance of terrorists and useless eaters by folks like Obama.
There are no absolutes. Yes, probably 90% of the current system is corrupt, but we do need to admit a few immigrants, at least until we figure out some way to fix our corrupt and broken educational system. That won’t be easy. But at least Trump won’t be TRYING to make it worse, the way Clinton, Bush, and Obama did.
Cruz is a weasel owned by globalist rich donors.

no one was even talking about illegals or a wall before Trump started talking about it. only Trump will build the wall that will stop the invasion of socialist illegals.
