Donald Trump could beat Hillary Clinton: Bill Richardson
CNBC ^ | March 4, 2016 | Tom DiChristopher

Democrats should not expect the path to the White House to be a cakewalk if Hillary Clinton faces Donald Trump in November, former New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson said Friday.

"We've got to be very careful because Trump has tapped into a negativity, a populism that is out there, and I think we have to work extra hard" to attract young voters and turn out the party's base, the 2008 Democratic presidential contender told CNBC's "Squawk Box."

Clinton will be a strong candidate, he said, but she will have to overcome her party's shift far left of the American electorate. Trump also brings a fair amount of Democrats into his coalition, Gregg said.

Trump is the Republicans' best chance to capture the WH and to straighten out the country, to "make America great again", as Trump says.

Trump is pulling a lot of independents who don’t normally vote in primaries and I think he will pull a lot of them and Reagan DemocRats in the general election, too.

Cruz or Rubio wouldn’t put up much of a fight against Clinton. Their campaigns would be very similar to McCain and Romney, very timid, unwilling to play hardball with her out of fear of “offending” the perpetually offended. With the Clinton machine, the media in full campaign mode, and the DNC, they’d steamroll either Cruz or Rubio.

Unfortunately, Trump will face all that, plus the backstabbers in his own party, and may even be literally stabbed by Glenn Beck. But, at least Trump will put up a very tough fight, and won’t be afraid to go directly at her with all he’s got, because he really wants to win, not just be a sacrificial goat.

Trump vs. Hitlery. WWE cage match ala: Thunderdome. Two candidates enter, one candidate leaves. Chainsaws and shotguns optional.

Dated: August 21, 1998

Ambassador Bill Richardson apparently lied when he said at his recent confirmation hearings that a UN job he offered to Monica Lewinsky last year was to fill an existing opening. As a result of this apparent deception, and the great lengths to which Richardson went in order to explain the job offer after the Lewinsky scandal broke publicly, Senator Frank Murkowski of Alaska, who chairs the Senate committee which confirmed Richardson as Energy secretary, has sent a letter to President Clinton urging him to hold off swearing Richardson in to his new post.

I think Cruz would fight her, but he’s just a very unappealing guy to any but the most conservative. Rubio would roll over just like McCain and Romney.

Trump is the only one who will fight her effectively — a key word.

Hillary the Liar is so well known to voters that she’d have a terrible time running for president — can’t be elected unless the GOP-e throws the election away like they did in 2008 and 2012. Bernie the Red is a “fresher face” to most voters and he looks ( at least) a lot more honest and likable then Mrs.. Benghazi with the Muslim Brotherhood girl friend. Bernie also has a lot of enthusiastic supporters. Trump could trump Hillary and probably beat Bernie too (tho it would at least be a contest). I think most of the other R candidates could beat Hillary too but it wouldn’t be as much fun as watching trump tear her “record” to pieces. The other R candidates would be wise to take a few pages out of Donald’s playbook.

Reagan Democrats like me were Democrats 40 years ago. That’s when Reagan ran against Gerald Ford. We long ago became Republicans or crotchety Independents. Why would we return to a party of Communism, fascism, political correctness tyranny, and radicalism.

Reagan Democrats haven’t been Democrats in a very long time. But the myth seems to reappear each election. Think about how old an eighteen year old 1984 Reagan voter would be today, about 50. And if they registered Dem in 1984, they darn sure weren’t voting for the Gipper.

When Trump and Hillary have their first debate, Trump needs only to ask Hillary this one question:

"Mrs Clinton, in 1975 you defended child rapist Thomas Taylor and after you found a loophole in the prosecution case, you worked hard to secure for Taylor a reduced sentence of just two months in jail for that child rape case! And then Mrs Clinton, when you indicated you knew that Taylor was guilty, you laughed! Explain right now...why you laughed Mrs Clinton!"

(I do not see how she can even begin to respond to this one question!)

***********

"In 1975, Hillary Clinton defended a man accused of child rape to receive only a two month jail term! Hillary defended Thomas Taylor, 41, in 1975 in Fayettville, Arkansas. Taylor was accused of raping a child after luring her into a car that same year. Hillary found a loophole in the prosecution case and Judge Maupin Cummings decided that offering Taylor a plea deal would be the best option.Taylor, for his rape of that child, received a total of two months jail time!"
After the case "...Hillary shockingly laughed as she indicated she knew he may have been guilty!"

In 2013, Hillary spoke at the Children's Defense Fund's 40th Anniversary Celebration in Washington on September 30th.

As long as Trump does not look Hillary directly, he should be OK. He won’t turn to stone. Why does Hillary wear a wig now?? She has to hide the snakes.

...he really wants to win, not just be a sacrificial goat.

That's what people don't get. Trump DOESN'T NEED TO SACRIFICE HIMSELF TO HILLARY.

Why? BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT JEB! WAS FOR.

So if Trump REALLY wanted Hillary in, he wouldn't have run - he would have just backed Hillary and let Jeb! screw the GOP like McCain did. The plan was already in place!

Conclusion: Trump is REAL. And that's WHY the GOP is losing its mind.
