Koch brothers will not deploy funds against Trump during primaries

NEW YORK, March 2 (Reuters) - The billionaire industrialist Koch brothers, the most powerful conservative mega donors in the United States, will not deploy their $400 million political arsenal to attack Republican front-runner Donald Trump in the U.S. presidential primary election, according to an official from the brother's political umbrella group.

"We have no plans to get involved in the primary," said James Davis, spokesman for Freedom Partners, the Koch brothers' political umbrella group.

We don’t get much good news these days. I’m glad to hear this. There was some speculation that they would fund the anti-Trump PACs.

So, is it possible they simply intend to hold-off attacking Trump until after he secures the nomination and then throw their money behind Hillary?

They will pile on Trump when he is the nominee hoping to cause the dims tol win, whomever that may be.

It might just be a lie. The SuperPac that is handling the funds they allegedly gave is designed to hide their involvement. They could publicly be saying they’re not involved but, actually, getting very involved through that superpac as planned.
