Everything voters have come to despise about the GOP Establishment is incarnated in Senator Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC)of South Carolina, who grudgingly allowed that Republican maharajahs might just have to hold their noses and support that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)fellow, just a couple of weeks after Graham joked that he could get away with murdering Cruz on the Senate floor.

Sounds like the GOPe sees the writing on the wall. The lesser of two evils in their minds. This idea must really scare the Trump folks.
For some reason this hoopla and panic over Donald Trump reminds me of the conversation between the Joker and Harvey Dent in “The Dark Knight”.
Where the Joker is talking about how the people in power all have plans, and everything is fine as long as things go according to plan, even if the plan is horrible.

You are right. The only reason they would support Cruz is because he is one of them. Cruz has been at the top level of the GOPe since at least 1999, his wife for nearly as long and then on to CFR and Goldman Sachs. They are both as establishment as it gets. I wish people would actually read Ted and wifey’s resumes. It has been a nice run for Cruz with the outsider act but at the end of the day, the establishment sticks together.
I think Trump should pick Cruz as VP, and have him torture the Senate from that position.

Lindsay is right. Ideologically, Cruz and Lindsay and the Washington Political Cartel are like peas in a pod. This is the logical thing to do. Cruz needs to stop all this “conservative” posing. He’s 110% Establishment for 15 years; and he’s a twofer-—his wife is a bigger globalist than he is (which is saying a log for the guy who wants 500,000 more H1b work visas, and unlimited visas for China, India and Mexico. Not to mention his support for TPA and TPP; open borders; North American Union, etc.)

There is only one reason why the establishment will want Ted now and that is because they know Rubio is toast and when Ted has done the work for them they will stab him right in the back
He’s already done dirty work for the establishment. Where have you been? He and McConnell are cozy - please do your research on how both Cruz and Paul knuckled under McConnell in 2014 to stop Tea Party candidates from winning. Namely, Crhis McDaniels in Mississippi. Sounds like you are wising up, but, it needs to be quicker.
