CNBC’s Kernan: Rubio Sounded Like ‘Baghdad Bob’ Last Night
Breitbart ^ | 03/02/16 | Jeff Poor

Posted on 03/02/2016 10:40:58 AM PST by Enlightened1

Wednesday on CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” the day after the Super Tuesday presidential contests, host Joe Kernan reacted to

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) speech in Miami, FL reacting to his performance.

Kernan declared Rubio’s message to be a “weird alternate universe” and likened it to former Iraqi spokesman Muhammad Saeed al-Sahhaf, also known as “Baghdad Bob,” who made incredible statements about the Iraqi military’s performance during the 2003 invasion despite the facts on the ground being otherwise.

“Where did Alice go?” Kernan said. “Down a rabbit hole or something? This is some weird alternate universe.  The other thing that struck me last night, did you watch Rubio’s victory speech? I was watching it, and it was like, where have I seen this before?  The only guy I could come up with was Baghdad Bob. It was like: ‘We have the Americans on the run. They’re at our gates, but they’re headed the other way. We’ve been working on this strategy and it’s working.’ It was like, what are you talking about? What world are you in? Does that help?”

I think it is daydreaming to thing that he can beat Trump. But it is not out of the realm of possibilities that he can keep Cruz from becoming a serious alternative to Cruz or even to keep a resolution to “our collective anti-Democrat” candidate from getting a preconvention consensus.

He is the GOPe establishment candidate now and that is his only goal - as a frigging spoiler. It is a shame that Cruz does not see this and start attacking him.

Thankfully Ruby will be done after Florida. (2 more weeks)

He’s a youngster, hopefully he comes back a better candidate in the future.

Maybe he’s so confident because someone in the GOPe told him they’d “fix things” for him at the Convention.

“It is a shame that Cruz does not see this and start attacking him.”

Cruz has already sided with Rubio. That is why Cruz got the backing of Linda Graham.

Then he is truly lost. It will just drag out, but the end result won’t be for him. I’m sad to see it actually.

I have accepted emplyment with the Rubio campaign. Donald Trump is a con artist, and the polls showing him with double the support of Senator Rubio are lies. Just like reports of President Saddahm's death are a lie. The President has retied to Tahiti and attends weekly performances of Elvis Presley. He wished ne good luck and said I could get a job with a Cuban, so since the Castro family had no openings, I applied for a job with the Rubio campaign and was hired. Believe me, Miami's beaches are fabulous, and that is no lie.
