GOP frontrunner Donald Trump says New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who endorsed him last week, would make a great attorney general. [...]
"I watched him make Sen. Marco Rubio literally, I thought he was going to faint. I was getting ready to catch him," Trump said about the heated debate exchange between Christie and Rubio in New Hampshire where Christie called out Rubio's memorized talking points. "He had a total breakdown on the stage. And I watched Chris do that," Trump recalled. ...

He’d be an excellent AG. Lots of rough experience in NJ NY area.
Christie, is not a bad guy, I think he would make a great Attorney General.
He would. But after being a governor, it would be a step down, imo. Christie is an excellent prosecutor, though. That should strike fear into Clinton Enterprises if he takes that AG position.
Have always respected your opinion. Why the NO?
Exposed purpose of the angeling pander.
Kinda unsettling seeing him with DT last night.
How does Christie debating Rubio make him a great AG?
I called it the other day when Trump said...”He’s a great prosecutor” at the event where Christie endorsed Trump.

Trump got it right the first time, “Get in that plane and go home.”
Agreed. Due to the bulls eye a Republican AG gets put under by the Leftists, Criste shows the necessary media skills and toughness to be good as a GOP AG.
So that’s why CC has been hugging the Donald’s butt lately.
“He would. But after being a governor, it would be a step down, imo.”
My thinking as well. Maybe a smaller fish bigger pond thing though. A actual size notwithstanding.
Christie will be a good team add, as will Palin.
I couldn’t believe what was going on in Christies mind when he had that “Robert Kardashian” expression on his face during the Press conference!
I don’t think Christie is particularly conservative (I know Trump isn’t either, but that’s another matter...). Christie showed himself to be soft on terrorism matters as governor with some of his judicial appointments, and I don’t think he’s particularly pro 2nd Amendment. Of course he would be miles ahead of Holder or Lynch, but I still think we could do better.
Yes, he was appointed by George W Bush in 2001 to be the U S Attorney for the District of New Jersey. So he does have a history as a Prosecutor. He also prosecuted the planners of the 2007 Ft. Dix attack plot. He must be pretty good to have these prior credentials.
I gave Christie a lot of grief for his liberal tendencies and his sucking up to Obama in 2010, but all things considered, he really isn’t all that bad. I mean, you’ve got to admit, Obama’s the kind of guy you can’t help but like, even if you disagree with his politics some of the time.
