US gvmt’s latest gay activist move in the Dominican Republic: an ‘LGBT Chamber of Commerce’

SANTO DOMINGO, March 1, 2016 (LifeSiteNews) – Tomorrow, the Dominican Republic's LGBT Chamber of Commerce will be inaugurated at a luxury hotel in downtown Santo Domingo, and it is being pushed almost singlehandedly by the United States government and its taxpayers.

The following press announcement was sent to all major news outlets in the staunchly pro-family Caribbean nation by the United States Embassy.

The Embassy of the United States of America, the LGBT Chamber of Commerce of the Dominican Republic (CCLGBTRD) and the United States Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce  (NGLCC), under the auspices of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) invites you to cover the opening of the LGBT Chamber of Commerce of the Dominican Republic.

The US ambassador to the Dominican Republic, Wally Brewster, has a long track record of homosexual activism, having served on the national advisory board of the Human Rights Campaign for over 30 years.

In 2012 he was one of President Barack Obama's top campaign financial bundlers, bringing in over 1 million dollars to the president's reelection campaign.

Shortly thereafter in 2013, he was rewarded with the post of ambassador to the Dominican Republic, and the very same day of his appointment he "married" his homosexual partner before embarking on his mission to the Dominican Republic.

Nothing in Ambassador Brewster's road to the Dominican Republic was coincidental, and neither was his choice of assignment to the oldest continuously inhabited European settlement in the Americas.  Santo Domingo, where the US Embassy is located, was the first seat of the Spanish colonial rule in the New World; the site of the first Catholic university, cathedral, castle, monastery, and fortress in the New World.

With the appointment of Ambassador Brewster and his homosexual "husband," it was also the first place in the Americas to be represented by a United States ambassador who is an openly homosexual "married" man.

At a time when many financial experts are warning of an impending financial crisis and as the United States digs itself into almost unimaginable generational budget deficits, the United States Agency for International Development is funding a cultural jihad on traditional values which knows no national or political boundaries.

Religious leaders have decried the blatant attack upon the values of a vast majority of the people of the Dominican Republic by agents of the United States.

The evangelical Christian leader Cristobal Cardozo called the LGBT jihad being waged upon his country "an insult to the good customs of the Dominican people, in a country where homosexual relations are not accepted legally or morally."

Catholic Archbishop Nicolás de Jesús López has also protested loudly, stating on one occasion that "if one wishes to live with another man, let him go out on his own, but for the state to debase itself, to ridicule itself, to pervert itself by extending the institution of marriage to two men or two women, that I will never accept, that is appalling behaviour." The same archbishop has stated that he will oppose the redefinition of marriage "up to his very death."

Local pro-family activists have warned that the US Embassy in the Dominican Republic has become the headquarters for the homosexual lobby in the nation, leveraging the vital economic power of the United States upon this small island nation to impose its cultural anarchy upon it.

This is what passes for "foreign policy" with the left.

There is a homo Chamber of Commerce!!!

These people think they are so special because they are perverted and sick. SO because they think that they then think they should get their special rights, have groups named after them and all because of how they have their unnatural, sick, twisted, perverted sex.

Someone please tell me how the US Government can claim any moral high-ground in its dealings around the world?

If only the current Pope could take such a firm stand.

This Southern Baptist misses B16.

If mankind makes it that long, history may very well look back on Francis as a heretical antipope.

This Southern Baptist misses B16.

As do most real Catholics.
