If he wins the nomination, I pray that he doesn’t loose to Hillary, but I think he will.
He is winning as a result of a splintering of the Republican party vote and open primaries. This is not a consensus.

Whereas a vote for Cruz is a vote for Romney, Blumenthal, or whoever the GOPE decides to proclaim the victor in a brokered convention.
Cruz has no path to victory. None. The only thing he will be able to do is prevent Trump from having enough delegates to win a first-round nomination at the convention, thus ensuring a brokered convention.
Whichever loser the GOPE will pick, WILL guarantee a Hillary victory.
