Heavy Israeli forces are surrounding ht Kalandia refugee camp north of Jerusalem after their attempts to enter the location met with gunfire, explosive devices and a hail of rocks and iron bars. Reinforcements were sent to the aid of the IDF and Border Guards who were under attack and used crowd dispersal measures and flares to break up the disturbance. The cause of the disturbance has not been disclosed, nor casualty figures.

Hang on for a paragraph; this is relevant. Several years ago an employee where I worked was on temporary assignment in New York in an area where graffiti covered everything. Across the street there was a big, teamster-connected open trucking facility where long haul trucks often sat for some time waiting for another consignment. There was not a speck of graffiti on the buildings or any trucks. One day my friend wandered over and asked a trucker why there was no graffiti. The trucker said, “because we do not allow it.”
Palestinians behave this way because Israel allows it. This is dangerous behavior and it should be stopped. Issue a warning and then discourage them with live, direct fire.

2 IDf Canine guys strayed into the camp by accident and a riot broke out. They had to go in an rescue them. They made it out ok.

Bit of an overkill - smallish target - one Russian SU24 could deliver one of their cluster bombs units quicker - they’re just up the road at Latakia. Or maybe if we could move them a lot closer, the Russians could do get in some more thermobaric practice with several TOSS-1A vehicles. Or any combination thereof ... make good war porn on Liveleak.
